I just take aspirin daily. :) Interestingly, it does double-duty as a migraine suppressant. If I go off the aspirin for some reason, migraine frequency averages 4-5 per month, but when I go back on it, I only get 0-2 episodes/mon. Can't explain why it works, but it's a robust statistical effect!

Eliquis is a risky anticoagulant because if your mom has an internal bleed there is *no reversing agent*. I've consistently refused it for my own AFib due to that unfavorable risk/benefit assessment. OTOH, I'm not a recovering stroke victim, which could change that assessment to favorable. Tricky.

I managed to forget my deer tail in prep for my last FC. Got all the way there before I realized it, too. I seriously considered driving all the way home and back to get it, but decided it wasn't worth wasting a whole day over. Found a replacement in the dealers den anyway, so it was all good. :)

It was! And there were actually 4 furs here (2 wished to remain private). I hadn't had so many visitors at one time since MLP days like 14 years ago, or met new furs since BLFC '18. I've missed not being a part of things, so it was nice feeling like I belonged again, even if only for a few hours. :)

Mini-furmeet at my house yesterday! Met @gaze.bsky.social & @glopossum.com as they were passing through town. Been a while since I made new furry friends! Was very impressed with their knowledge of early fandom history/artists, and enjoyed sharing some of my own memories and media with them. :)

Tbh, I hardly ever hear "murr" or "murry" anymore, either! Though "murrsuit" is still fairly common. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just got a $5 class action check for something I had a legit claim in the thousands. It was so small I didn't even cash it, and especially not since the terms say if I do, I 'accept' the settlement, which I absolutely do not! Fucking thieves stole all the money due me and gave me pocket change. :(

I don't have mine anymore and I can't remember or even imagine selling it or giving it away. I don't like to think a houseguest took it, but I think that might be what happened. 😥

Incomprehensible and terrifying imagery to 12-year-old me. Called my mom about 15 minutes into it begging her to come pick me up. Couldn't. Had to stay. Pure hell. The Trip was definitely a bummer!

Did you mirror everything to DW? I hope so! You definitely had one of the more worthwhile LJs. Myself, I *do* want a 'tombstone' there! My whole purpose was to memorialize those times of my life, for myself, and others after I'm gone. Heck, I already feel forgotten. No wish to make that a certainty.

Love that song! I saw PG live when he was touring for his first solo album, and he did Solsbury Hill and the rest of the show with all the album's original musicians... including Robert Fripp! That was the first time I ever attended a concert in a night club, too. (The Roxy in Hollywood.) ^_^

'Lola Bunny'...in 1993? Quite impossible. That is actually Vicky Rabbit, made by Farallon Seal, and later owned by Me. The photo itself is also misattributed. Fact-checking before posting is highly recommended! :-)

Furry has been kinky since the beginning as illustrated by these photos from Confurence 1993 (curated by www.instagram.com/d0gfag/) There has always been a demand for adult spaces in furry. The fandom was founded on the idea that adults can use anthro animals and cartoons to express adult interests.

A raccoon fursuit wearing leather harness and chain leash, his arm around a smiling convention attendee at Confurence 1993 in the artist alley. There are people behind the pair but it's too dark to make out details.

A Lola Bunny fursuit wearing black lace panty-hose and holding a crop. She is posing. A watermark for Upright Fox is in the top corner.

A seductive mustelid fursuiter holds a leather crop, his white and blue fur under leather vest, belt and low-riding jock strap pose in front of an empty convention hallway table.

A gender-bent bear fursuit with eye liner wears latex from the waist down, and a corset. A smiling con goer looks on in his white teeshirt with a busty anthro animal on it. There is a busy crowd behind them.
