it sadly doesn't have a bunch of wacky hand-drawn anime characters thrown in this time around, but they *did* reuse the crusty digitised sprites from 1999 for at least two of the characters dunno what compelled them to do so but it's endearing nonetheless

I just read through it and from what I could gather, they actually taken in some feedback. For the most part, they're going to implement it to where it doesn't require selfies or ID cards. This isn't something to cause any of y'all to nuke your Discord accounts or go into mass hysteria.

for further context the engine this game was made with only allowed one simul partner to be selected as your striker IKEMEN GO being recent and all breaks that limit entirely, resulting in being able to pull off crazy stuff like this
