Also, I wish I remember who made it, but there was one of these tests that did peg me down to a specific region that was correct, as I have lived there the longest, but it was a longer test.

I have to admit, this test is never consistent for me. I have lived in different regions of the US growing up and am used to swapping words depending on geography or my mood. I will note, that Florida is one place I have never lived. Only visited, so this is funny to me.

Oh, no! Its harmless for the tree. If its on the ground, its probably empty already. You can look to see if there is a tiny hole or not. Hole means the wasp has left. If not, you can leave it be. Its not a bad thing.

Looks like an oak gall. Apparently a wasp will lay an egg into a tree and the tree grows around it as a form of protection that the baby wasp will feed on.
