The only freedom Trump cares about is his own freedom to rule unrestrained by congress and his freedom to profit unencumbered by the Constitution or the law. The judges make their verdicts, but Trump has spent a lifetime circumventing the courts.

What would those who are registered Republicans think if it were a Democrat President who feared major midterm election losses because his policies were so unpopular and tried to rig the election in an effort to retain a congressional majority? Yet they say nothing about Trump.

While Trump draws the attention, the dark money that enabled his rise to power avoids the spotlight but is counting on Trump to deliver for them. Trump works for the moneyed interests and has himself expressed no concern for the plight of the average American yet they continue to vote for him.

Not low enough. Trump has the fervent and unconditional support of the Republican Party and Trump's agenda is their agenda, yet the Republicans have a good chance of holding onto their majorities in the House and Senate

Trump started this war to disrupt the oil market thus raising the price of that commodity. He publicly told the fossil fuel companies that he would lavishly repay them for their support and campaign donations. Because of Trump, oil companies and making record profits on higher gas prices.

Trump's most egregious failure may be his refusal to address the growing threat of man-made climate change. Not only is he promoting fossil fuels which contributes to the problem, but Trump also chips away at the solution by canceling renewable energy projects. Trump's become an existential threat.

Much of what Trump has done since resuming the Presidency has weakened the United States. He has improved the plight of the very rich, including himself, and showered the oil companies with cash, but has left the country at large worse off and deeper in debt.

Trump promised while campaigning that he would be very good to the oil companies. He started a war that would disrupt oil markets by creating shortages and slowing transportation thus driving up the cost of oil and by keeping the price elevated indefinitely.

There is the tendency in a capitalist economy for wealth to be rewarded with more wealth. It is also quite hard to break the cycle of poverty in a capitalist system. Wealth breeds more wealth while poverty remains unchanged. The rich grow ever richer while the poor buy lottery tickets.
