Ok it's been pointed out to me that this is supposed to be a rebus for "America runs on Dunkin," but it looks for all the world like a person running away from the US

Goose meme "does 'separate' mean 'completely unrelated' and if so why is it in this article, motherfucker?"
The New York Times in a brazen rejection of journalistic ethics appears to swallow government propaganda whole as it inserts a sentence about a shooting that had zero to do with antifa into an article about antifa

I can definitely use some sixties and some surreal today.

Yes, young people voted for Harris, but EVEN YOUNG WOMEN didn't vote for her by as big a margin as women over 65. Counting only age and gender, every demographic shifted in the direction of Trump (relative to 2020) except women over 65.

In case you were wondering if AI is ideological, I was trying to remember the title of Stephen Greenblatt's "Fiction or Friction" and learned from the AI overview in my Google search that Greenblatt's work on Montaigne and Shakespeare has absolutely zero to do with transgender topics whatsoever.

Of all the mendacious @nytimes.com headlines. They actually changed this (before, it said "Now it's facing consequences") but it's no better. Complete misstatement of what the article says. The whole point is that the professors' warnings went unheeded.

Can you be any more self-righteous? Random people's TikTok videos expressing frustrations do not a party's (lack of) strategy make. Maybe it would HELP the situation more to offer alternatives than snark? Oh but that's asking too much

This account @beingliberal.bsky.social (which I'm going to block) presented the caller as a Trumper, although he makes clear he is not a Trumper but has MAGA neighbors. Then commenters piled on without bothering to listen to the man's story.

A nonsensical AI Overview ("Chicago-based artist Laleh Motlagh is a featured artist in the XBAG group's Venus Blue exhibit") An even more nonsensical AI Overview ("Laleh Motlagh is an Iranian artist based in Chicago..." with no mention of the search terms at all, except for Chicago)
