Given how almost everything is done over the Internet now (or pre-installed) I kinda miss the days of physical OS boxes. It's all just packaging for a USB drive but it felt like something that was actually tangible and, like, in your hands

There's a lot of really really stupid tells that you kinda just gain a clinical eye for. Shit like overuse of eyebrow text (the small text above the header, see image 3) or that generic glowy look where Everything is animated (images 1/2, a fake Xenia website I found a while back)

This is a dead prototype, but I still like how the light moves. Using a plugin (Elttob Relight), I can move the sun around to paint *with* shadows, and it still looks stunning, especially at angles where the shadows get really long on the side walls

cool #figma / #figmadesign trick I've just learned; typing "F" or "H" into a box under Dimensions will automatically set the value to Fill or Hug respectively

Screen recording of Figma. A cursor begins typing onto the Dimensions box - Width and then Height - and types "F" into both. Afterwards, both boxes are now set to "Fill."

Storybook tool appeared on my Roblox Studio install despite not having any plugins of the same name installed. Contains some Roblox UI components as pre-loaded stories. Really hoping we have an official storybook system, the current third-party ones are *extremely* janky #robloxdev
