The Blurb. Dusky Poddock would do anything to be kidnapped by faeries. Unfortunately, the faeries would do anything to send her back. When Dusky learns the truth, she’s far less daunted than she should be at the prospect of sharing a bed with a gorgeous (if infuriatingly surly) faery. Percy, however, wants nothing less. As threats close in and Percy's carefully guarded heart begins to crack, Dusky uncovers corruption woven deep into the faery realm and learns that magic alone may not be enough to undo her mistake. With time running out and dangerous faeries offering false hope, it all comes down to Dusky, Percy, and the spell that binds their clashing hearts.

Seraphine collapsed into the front pew, her vision swimming. The golden beams streaming through the stained glass warmed the flagstones and blurred with the candlelight.
A feminine figure clad in a crimson cloak so dark it could have been black swished into Seraphine’s periphery. The figure paused, looking up at a tapestry of Thalor’s likeness in the niche beside the pew Seraphine had collapsed in. Then her hood slid an inch, revealing a delicate jawline and creamy skin, wisps of black hair curling around her chin.
