Sometimes I could take from one to give to the other. I had a hell if a time finding people because I would be honest when hiring. So much so I lost the ability to hire for myself and I had low turnover. Back then over your budget would = less bonus for SM. I never “earned” a bonus. Didn’t care.

Having scheduled for 3 depts in a super Walmart, Walmart allows each store a max number of hours. The Store Manager then gives each assistant a set # for each department. I could only afford to give so many hours to each person, and I was being fair. They make it impossible to give full-time hrs.
