Looked over my old sketches and found this girlie, but I'll have to wait a whole year if i wanna go with #Serpentember as the trend 😔

yup c: with evolution its much harder for evolved body parts to go backwards and/or turn into something else, so the key is to have the evolution begin at a point before things are set in stone so they can adapt into something different

010

RoFlo @r0flo.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

yeah its really tricky, most people either do normal human hands or hooved fingers and it doesnt feel right i feel like if the hands didn't 'evolve' for treading on the ground it would be easier for them to adapt to grasping onto things instead

oh i'm mostly going off of the lore for my 'Witch and the Dragon' series so there's no group of deer-taurs unfortunately :c Lauma makes it pretty, but there's a whole lot to sort out if i were to make it a thing in this canon

Ok so I'm in a bit of a pickle. I can release a set of Centaur girls for DeCENTAUR or a set of Fauns for DEERcember or I can also wait for January and call it FAUNuary i want the puns to work but its also important which ones y'all are itching to purchase more, otherwise what's the point?

Felt like practicing the two main dragons from my #ConstellationDraco story, and then it turned into a study of dragon cuddles they are characters in the story so this is all pretty canon btw #dragons #art #fantasy

oh one more thing, Nar Nar is half Golden Smacklejaw and half Quetzal Ampithere, which is a species of Serpents that evolved "feathers" and learned how to fly like Wyverns do so thats why Nar Nar looks like that

064

RoFlo @r0flo.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

not sure if i ever posted these full refs here, but yeah these two megabeasts share custody of the little green baby ✌️💚

RoFlo @r0flo.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

CONTEXT: Nar Nar is the hybrid son of the Golden Smacklejaw (yellow) but he got lost and semi-adopted by the Slithering Red (red), then crossed paths when the 'humans' got involved and now both dragons are like "the baby seems cool with you, so now we're cool with each other i guess"

Some people really can't deal with the fact that other people might like media and art they don't and viceversa. Like and dislike whatever you want. Just don't be so damn toxic and elitist about it.

3rd - whoever can come up with a good enough pun for a species in December, you get to decide what adoptables i'll be selling for Christmas ✌️

RoFlo @r0flo.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

1st off - these designs are my OC's for the story, not for sale, sorry 2nd - I had some sketches done months ago and i was waiting all year for this, but i almost forgot about my plan, so NOW i'm doing a mad scramble to get them all done in time lmao
