Random free Flames of War mini I got with wargames illustrated. Amazing detail and yes the wire is out of scale but was all I had to hand so it has to do.

First time with TT combat pre printed terrain. Not bad for budget gaming and will do as objective markers but I do prefer painting my own.

Warlord Games Kangaroo. This one did not play nice and just wouldn't take paint. Useful as an objective marker for K47 though.

Some konflikt 47 from warlord. B for Bertie (lovely model), iic fire director (quite imposing looking) and a bombardier platform (suffers from scale creep and needs updating)

Another enquiry? How many will that be and nothing ever happens. This is a tragic case but you could script what an inquiry would say at this point and save a lot of money.

This was a disappointment. Not a bad book per se just flat. Normally Asher's stuff is quite fast paced but this one felt like trudging through treacle. #books #reading #scifi

Another day of waking up early by a sudden downpour at 4am. Like a monsoon when I looked and I've had to put the fire on this morning. It is nearly mid June and clearly we have classic British summer inbound.

Saw the new he-man film today. Great fun and totally unapologetic in just being a bit of pulpy, nostalgia filled fan service. Some of the fights are a little overdone but the music is cracking and some lovely Easter eggs. More films needed than are just simple fun.

Watching the new 40k trailer. Why are people surprised the emperor moved. Pretty much every lore piece says he twitches, rambles and spasms. Doesn't tempt me to buy the box at all but the trailer is very well done but needs more necrons.

Well that trip was a bit of a waste. Easily a third of places closed down or empty. Place a dirty scruffy mess. No unique shops or anything in them that couldn't be found anywhere. Chain coffee shops everywhere and the market was shit. Did find a second hand record store though.

Honestly the cost of those vostroyans is disgusting. Never mind the FOMO short window £22 for a single guardsman with flamer is ridiculous. It's a 20 year old sculpt and I paid only £6 more for a resin and metal APC with two metal figures direct from warlord.
