Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/06/2026Rigging or weight painting? If it's rigging there are tools for making it easier (yes learning it proper is good but it doesn't need to be perfect knowledge). Definitely use the mirror tools if your rigging a semi simetrical character or something. If it's weights.... Good luck soldier 🫡 020

Red @quotered.bsky.social · 07/02/2026My ass is trying my best to combine 3D trees with pixel-art-type sprite trees and failing right now. I think I'm just going to go for more detailed ones where I will array tree sprites until they have the shape of a tree. But for now I landed here, and I think this method will be used for lod's. 030

Red @quotered.bsky.social · 17/02/2025Do you have some unbaked simulation in it? Or not utilizing your GPU? Maybe your overloading ur Vram and the rest is going to Ram? Your Subdivision modifier could be set to CPU? There is a sh*t ton of options. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 17/02/2025I feel ya, mate… I’ve been trapped in the default cube for over a decade already :P 010
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025Like I would tell ya here what's wrong if I could look at it. It could be anything with textures and materials :P Black at least means they are loaded but might be miss used somewhere or something is just set incorrectly. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025Yeah I didn't use the shortcut I just build upon it with names of the textures and UV placement and with basic knowledge of how textures works. What where etc. If you need help: quotered On discord. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025What model do you need maybe i can port it and fix it for ya? 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025So i got home, with rigs are seperated if i remmeber correctly so you have to import all the parts and connect the rig's ( they have the same bone names etc so thats like one or two presses of the button ) 100
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025I might help with the cracker I have but like I said I'm far from home I only have my phone not my pc. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025I'm taking a class rn but when I get back home in like 3-4 hours we can go on discord call or I can send you a discord invite where ppl crack these all the time. 100
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 15/02/2025It's quite simple, aside from the map tiles, etc. They use tiling textures for optimization and have tons of materials separately, which can be a hassle, but the process itself is simple. Models of the characters are like 20 min of work. 100
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Well for problems in C4D and software like Maya you just email the support. Blender knowledge is community based. The documentation for blender is huge but documentation for problems and errors is almost not existent besides online forums. 110
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Well if you love your keyboard just change the keybinds you can look them up in settings by name or symbol. I'm not big on keyboards I had two one was Steel Series Apex 1 and my keyboard right now is Steel Series Apex 5. 010
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025You can always export a tillable texture, fix it up in raster software or in Substance Sampler or Designer. But yeah if you want a procedural texture for one software to another there is no all in one solution. There are some formatting tools but not all features will transfer. 010
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025It's up to you to change what you know. Back in my day, Blender was more aggressive with key binds. Nowadays, there are plenty of accessibility tools for touchpads and smaller keyboards. 110
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Legend says it ate the programmer who added it. We must pay respects to the fallen. 020
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Both have their pros and cons. No single software is suitable for every situation. 110
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025You can bake any data within Blender, you can apply the geometry nodes and bake the texture maps. Then you can just use it anywhere. 110
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Small keyboards are mostly for gaming. If you want to achieve speed and accuracy in software you need a full-sized keyboard .. It's essential in my opinion. 100
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025¡No hay problema! <3 Si tienes algún problema o pregunta, no dudes en preguntar. 010
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Give it time, it took me half a decade to memorize the shortcuts. :3 They changed them a bunch, but I have the OG shortcuts saved, so I don’t have to worry. xd 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Tutorials are made to accomplish one specific task. There are no real tutorials that teach you exactly what you need. By exploring your interests, you learn what you need and want to learn. 010

Red @quotered.bsky.social · 10/02/2025Maya has answers to anything but you need to be a paying customer that sends them an email or something close to that. Blender has answers for most things some you would need to figure out but the community is stronger and helps. By the way if u ever need help feel free to msg me, gl ^^ 020

Red @quotered.bsky.social · 31/01/2025I don't know what I should tell you :] If you have a pull towards motion graphics learn the basics ( not from the 🍩 tutorial ). Then just try your hardest to make something and Google as you go. If you stumble upon a problem or something that you want to do and don't know where to start, dm me :D 100
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 31/01/20253D modeling can be fun, but not everyone will like it. It has its quirks, just like motion graphics, but if you enjoy motion graphics, you should definitely learn the basics of any 3D suite, it will make your toolkit much stronger. 100

Red @quotered.bsky.social · 28/01/2025That's everywhere mate xP But it's a good learning experience for the future. Everyone had one like it in many different fields. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 28/01/2025ArmorPaint I think is a good option. I'm still stuck on Substance since before Adobe bought them I enjoy the software because I got the kinks and problems with it memorized. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 28/01/2025If you need help with an error tell me I'm gonna try and help ya out. But if you don't want help, googling dot and the format extension will tell you most of the things needed. And small help: Obj doesn't support rigs. Fbx has weird shading issues in and from Substance Painter and some other ones. 000
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 27/01/2025As I am busy with a lot of things, I'm going to post an old design of mine. Rendered in Blender but then Photoshopped to its limit. #graphicdesign #design #blender #blender3d #grunge 030
Red @quotered.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Blender overall, but for 3D animation the industry Standard is Maya sadly. If you want to just have fun go with GMod, but if you want to have creative freedom it will be easier to go for Blender. 010
