"Lord of the Divine Writing" A digital piece featuring Thoth, the Egyptian God of writing, wisdom, magic, the moon, and many other things. :> I'm super excited and happy about how this turned out. I'm feeling more and more comfortable with my digital art style. #art #digitalart #egyptiangod #thoth

A digitally painted illustration featuring the Egyptian God, Thoth. He's depicted in his ibis-headed form with stylized shapes. The whole images is richly covered in patterns and hieroglyphs.

That feeling when you have a massive backlog of art posts to share because you've been MIA from the internet for like a year

I love the way you draw your characters in motion! They look so graceful! It's so beautiful the way the hair floats back!

Aaahhh!! Oh my goodness she's magnificent!!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ahaha that's so cute! A living legend flustered by titles ❤️

010

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

That is so saaaadddd I love it! I love all the great names you came up with and the depth of the story!!

010

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ahh that makes sense! I bet anyone that spends time with her would gradually realize just how real she is!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

She'll probably be doing this as long as she lives then. Unless she can find someone to succeed her!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

It's so unfair! It's not the fluffy roens' fault!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

This is such cool world building!! Are you making a comic for Kodo??

000

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

No wonder she's tired! That's so badass and such a cool way to use her longevity! It's her way of remaining optimistic and keeping purpose in her life

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ohhh does she keep a library or archive of her writings so future generations have access to it? Now I'm kind-of picturing her as a guardian of history or a stern librarian haha or maybe some kind of priestess!

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ooohhhh like a Phoenix! That is such a cool backstory! I bet she's seen so much change over her long life! So sad too though, I love a complex character ❤️

210

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Is she kinda short for her species or somewhat average? I wonder how she feels about meeting a much shorter or much taller species?

200

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

It's amazing and there's actually an anime adaptation in production for it too! Def give the books a try if you can, the illustrations are awesome!

000

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

I've found its more common in bigger cities for sure! Don't give up and I'm sure you'll find some cool peeps!

I love the way he uses his fins to be more expressive!! Have you read the leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld? I feel like you'd love it!!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Oh my god I never even though to use a tag like that! That's so freaking smart!!

010

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

That's totally fair. There's still quite a few people that still use their 3ds too! I get streetpass all the time! My 3ds broke recently tho so I need to find a replacement 🙃

100

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

I very much do! You have such a talent for unique and cool designs! Also I need to know how tall she is!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Yeah that turd pisses me off for so many reasons. Ohhh thank you!!

010

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Haha impressive to be old or a pokemon hoarder? They've somehow gotten more expensive as I've gotten older so I def think I'm more lucky than anything. Have you tried emulating them? That can be a good cost effective way to play them!

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

She looks so amazing!!! I can't wait to see what clothes she wears and how she moves!

210

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

I'm so bad at this app still honestly. I never got into Twitter so it's like relearning the internet on here!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

If you ever feel like giving it a shot give me a shout and we can friend each other! I love collecting the beautiful full art cards and its totally free! Bruh I'm so old I have pretty much all the main series games all the way back to red and blue 😭 been collecting since I was five

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

I FREAKING LOVE HER!! I saw the sketch on your profile but I didn't see the finished one!! This is so freaking cool!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Awww thank you! Now I just need the motivation to color it! I freaking loooovve electrike and that card sounds so cute!! Do you play pokemon pocket by any chance?

120

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ooohhh pastels aren't a bad idea! I was gonna try to do golden hour lighting. Maybe I'll make multiple versions 👀

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

It's all hard but so rewarding! We get to sit back and be like "I made that! That came from my brain!" I try to think of coloring as bringing the subject to life and that definitely makes it more fun!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

All I want is a bazillion slice of life pokemon anime. Is that too much to ask??

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Thank you ❤️❤️ I spent sooo much time on it. I'm tempted to just add it to a coloring book because I'm so worried about ruining the lineart!

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ahhh you're wonderful!! Lineart is definitely the thing I have the most fun doing. Coloring is so hard for mee

110

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Thank youuu! 😭 I imagine she's the type to seem really stoic and tough but she's just always nervous and doesn't know what to say

010

quokkabear.bsky.social @quokkabear.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Ahh thank you! I was trying to capture their og vibe while also doing them in my style!

Bruh now I wanna draw a pikmin fluttering about!
