2014 in the UK was lousy for jobs, I recall. I graduated from college, no work experience, into post-recession, 8% unemployment. That was a cake-walk compared to whatever this is.

Sent my resume to a temp agency and even they said "lol no sorry". This for warehouse jobs, cleaner, etc, not even IT (which I've basically abandoned now). Starting to seriously entertain the idea that there's a lot of nativism going on. When they see I'm an immigrant, application in the shredder.

What the fuck. This is pure parasite behavior and theft. As a creator who devotes much time and care to my own silly stuff, characters, stories, etc, I find this revolting. Good on them for unionizing. MTG and D&D are the only money making parts of Hasbro. They got them good.

Except from an article about the poor treatment of Magic: the Gathering and Wizards of the Coast employees by Hasbro and WotC execs. It says:

"Our Free Time is Our Own: Currently, if an employee makes anything creative in their free time, with their own resources, Hasbro may claim ownership. What we do in our free time should not be dictated by the company; neither should what we make in our free time be owned by the company. "

When seeing a list of items. does anyone else start at the bottom and work up, or am I just weird? Like if I'm looking at a menu, or scrolling job postings, or reading bullet points, I'm always scrolling to the bottom first. I think it's my brain's way of guessing how long it'll take.
