The first Jurassic Park movie is still one of my all time favourites. I can info dump for hours about the sound design and the extraordinary collaboration between stop-motion and digital animators... but mostly because I absolutely adored Dr. Ellie Sattler. #art #fanart #JurassicPark #moviequotes

It took me a while to clean up the sketch. This particular style is pretty slow going but I am still super proud of how it turned out. #art #smilodon #sabertooth #paleontology #prehistoric

Another skull study. This time I decided to sketch the beautiful smilodon skull on display at the #RoyalAlbertaMuseum of natural history. #art #sketch #paleontology

And yet another. Have I mentioned that I am a massive paleontology nerd?

There is a beautiful #dunkleosteus skull at the #RoyalTyrrellMuseum that I have fond memories of as a kid. It's such an iconic fossil. #art #paleontology

There is a probability that pachycephalosaurus didn't have feathers, but that's what artistic liberties are for. With the desert background I kinda wish I had given this little guy the colouration of a roadrunner, but I like the cockatiels rosy cheeks more. #art #dinosaur #paleontology

There was an article a while back about how brain-meltingly cute baby dinosaurs are. Of course I had to try and draw that. #Art #dinosaur #paleontology

Slot canyons can be super dangerous but also indescribably beautiful. An older illustration I did a while back. #Art #Background #Desert

Sometimes I wish I had a real copper kettle. #Art #OC

A cute cartoon sphinx peeking over the edge of a kitchen counter, impatiently waiting for a kettle to boil so she can make a cup of tea.
