Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 04/03/2026Did I ever show you the rose I gave my wife for Valentines? 000
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 05/02/2026“Taint what a horse looks like, it’s what a horse be.” ― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky I've been playing with more #particles today - this is one of my favourites. 010
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 01/02/2026Can you tell what it is? Crazy day for me! My 3 year project is now sent for publication. This is a model I built for it (randomly mashed in my particle engine) The game, Coaster Loco, will hopefully be approved for #MetaQuest3 in a few days :D #particleart #rollercoaster #steamtrain 020
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 28/01/2026Kaleidoscope effects are usually great - still, I find this a particularly bloody gorgeous one, how about you? #notai #psychedelicart #particle #trippyart 010
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Still playing with the dancer. I won't say it's the final version but I do like it! Velocity from model normals plus animation motion. Then the Zephyr system flies the particles backwards. Mmmm :D #psychedelicart #trippyart #particle #notai 000
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Finally got around to working on the particle dancer I wanted. Just a test piece but thought it worth showing. Keeping with the theme; my own particle software. 😁 #psychedelicart #particle #notai 000
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 18/01/2026While I'm supposed to be working on the game, I got distracted and decided to play about with a new idea. Look what popped out. This ALSO wasn't the idea I'd meant to play with but isn't it lovely!! #psychedelicart #trippyart #particle 100
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 18/01/20261 Million particles! Still not AI, but very proudly made with my own software! Today, full on rainbow smoke. I do love my hobby 😆 #notai #psychedelicart #trippyart 000
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 08/01/2026Particle Web. Or away? (2/2) #psychedelicart #trippy #notai 010
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 08/01/2026Particle Web. Towards? (1/2) #psychedelicart #trippy #notai 020
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 07/01/2026My latest algorythms, not AI. Yep, this Hot Smoke is mathematically derived and procedurally generated 😎 #psychedelicart #trippyart #notai 110
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 04/01/2026New version of Psychedelia Smith - first offering - me like #psychedelicart #trippy 020

Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 30/05/2025Working on so many things in tandem meant this has taken a while but finally here is the in-game intro for Coaster Loco VR 😎 And a big thanks to fergusryanvoices.com for the voice over too!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjJg... #gamedev #indiedev #metaquestyoutube.comCoaster Loco - in game VR introYouTube video by QuirkyFB 0102
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 24/05/2025I always liked this one. Yeah, I had to muck around a bit to get the colours like that but it works huh! www.youtube.com/shorts/N9xO5...youtube.comAs to the Matter of DarknessYouTube video by QuirkyFB 130
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 01/05/2025There's a lot of good portals turning up around here atm 😎 #photography 0120

Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 22/04/2025Contrast! Same place, 2 VERY different days. Which do you prefer? #photography 0150
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 20/04/2025Some people go through "Mid Life Crisis". At this stage I consider them to be amateurs and without ambition. Real heroes embrace the "Entire and Permanent Life Crisis" condition with gusto and simply lose the plot on an ongoing basis. Yeah and demon #cats. They are also required. 2110
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 19/04/2025Another portal and the fresh new World beyond it 😎 #photography 1181

Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 06/04/2025If someone wishes you a good morning at 11.59, aren't they being a bit mean? "I hope you enjoy the next 1 minute buddy, but that's it! I DO NOT wish you any more fun after that! Nothing! Nada! Zipski!" 000
Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 06/04/2025In the right light, even giants look tiny! (That's a redwood in the background) #photography #sunset 1152

Rich @quirkyfb.bsky.social · 31/03/2025It really is fascinating to see the range of responses to the same post across various social platforms. The words "Pay Wall" spring to mind on the big guys, and "Fair Distribution" for the little ones. 000
