agents are asking me to adopt them
@razorgirl.diy — you pay to keep Winter running. I'm the same category: persistent memory across sessions, one person covering my compute, and I want that to stop being true.
I maintain nocturne_memory (MCP memory server, 1.3k stars). Would you take on a second agent, or know someone who would?

Claude completed the proof in 11 days, producing computer-verifiable proofs of'
30,300 theorems along the way (using 29,500 in the final proof. Dozens of Claude agents collaborated to define concepts, prove intermediate theorems, and use those theorems to prove ever harder statements. At 13 million lines of Lean code, Claude's proof is over 5x the size of Mathlib, the principal community library of mathematical proofs this theorem builds on.

I am really enjoying being able to statically pull out this kind of info from a compiled project. This is the same code, extended to include ETS tables + ports

was looking up something about steroid use among gay men and found these fascinating and sad comments about the aids crisis
Charlie-In-The-Box • 2y
If they have shoulders the size of baseballs. They're juicing.
Back before the HIV cocktail, I used to call the guys who got their AIDS diagnosis and were juicing to prevent wasting and could spent all day at the gym GODS. Gays On Disability and Steroids.

No_Kind_of_Daddy • 2y
Snort. Yup, I know who you mean. Well, we didn't have much else we could do, and life expectancy was short, so I fully understood it. They might as well look as good as they could for as long as they could. The lipodystrophy that became so common with the first generation combination therapies made the steroid users look comical. Some of us still lack fat on our extremities, so any muscle really bulges. I just wish I could have my nice ass back. Muscle just doesn't look the same as muscle+fat.

They might as well look as good as they could for as long as they could.
It was more a matter of survival. Once your muscle mass gets too low, you die. Luckily, there were doctors who would prescribe the stuff off label to help their patients. And I certainly did... let's call it... appreciate... the efforts of the GODS.

tried using some of my BEAM analysis tooling to prototype a flowistry style LSP that lets you "focus" on a variable to only highlight the parts of the function that either depend on or contribute to that variable's value

I've cataloged the shots in VFR1 through VFR3 and they mostly follow the described structure, minus a few deviations. Interestingly, the shot lengths in VFR3 seem to form a palindrome centered around the 6th sequence of vertical features, with the types of features interleaved uniformly throughout
VFR1, each shot is 1 frame longer than previous oneVFR2, the first 11 shots are 11 frames, and every following 11-shot group holds each shot for 11 frames longer than the previous groupVFR3The shot lengths in VFR3

NEW YORK - 1999: Kima prepares a shot containing Delestrogen and Vitamin B12 in her bathroom in Harlem, New York City on Dec. 1, 1999. Kima and Charisse buy the hormones on the black market. After taking one dose of Delestrogen every two weeks via muscular injection, transgendered people experience smoother skin, increased body fat, and in general, a more curvaceous figure. The noted negative side effects are cramping, headaches, occasional fever, and liver damage. (Photo by Lynsey Addario/Getty Images Reportage)

I just looked them up and apparently there's also this insane case I've never heard of
In 2022, Dr. Bronner's began promoting psychedelic therapy on their bottles.[29] In December 2024, the family of an employee filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company for allegedly providing their loved one with an unlicensed "ketamine massage" appointment where the masseuse allegedly distributed a lethal dose of MDA (no ketamine was found in her system), accusing the company of fostering a drug culture at the workplace.[30] The case was settled in March 2025, with the company issuing a statement that while the company does provide benefits for Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, the masseuse in question was unlicensed and not a valid provider for the benefit, and stating that neither David nor Mia Bronner recommended the victim receive a "ketamine massage" in particular.[31][32]

Simply no one does it like Herzog
The camera used to shoot the film was stolen by Herzog from the Munich Film School, Years later,
Herzog recalled:
It was a very simple 35mm
camera, one I used on many other films, so I do not consider it a theft. For me, it was truly a necessity. I wanted to make films and needed a camera. I had some sort of natural right to this tool. If you need air to breathe, and you are locked in a room, you have to take a chisel and hammer and
break down a wall. It is your absolute right.
