Last night: Daniel Avery at Chalk - a very mixed bag of drone music that leant heavily on Nine inch Nails and Death in Vegas, followed by the expected squelchy 303 bangers and delicious hi hat techno. Tonight: A jazz quartet at St. Andrews in Hove. I think there's a Greek saxophonist involved.

Lured in (after a swim) by the massive signage and I rather enjoyed the subversive (and explicit) nature of their content, you might be able to zoom in on the green cushion for an example. BENT. Does what it says on the tin. Probably not a place to take your kids.

The sea in Kemptown, Brighton is very flat this morning but there is a bit of a current. I swam out to and around the four buoys. Two of them are where the kayaker is.
