I'm hearing so many horror stories about Nextdoor. I don't know... my Nextdoor feed is all "cat missing", "who can paint my fence?", and "I'm starting a local group to overcome the loneliness crisis." Maybe Nextdoor isn't the problem, but that many neighborhoods are just shitty? #nextdoor

I just want to point out that calls to mingle more with people of a different political opinion are a sign of privilege. I'm less inclined to engage with people who might want me dead. Feeling that as a trans person now, but I'm sure e.g. black folks have long known @davidplotz.bsky.social
