The "Real Rave Scene" lives in the small, local groups. Not at mega festivals and huge venues. Learn people's names, become a regular, join your community that's already there! 78121
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 27/01/2026This last year has been a year of ups and downs. But through it all I’ve grown so much as a person and I wouldn’t change a thing. Hope I can celebrate this weekend for a bit on VRC! 0110
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 23/01/2026I love my work and what I do, but holy shit I cannot stand the night shift. It’s like I don’t exist in reality. I can’t believe I wanted to do a specialty that spends 1/4 of their work life on nights. I love being a family doc. 080

quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 08/01/2026That’s how a lot of dj scenes are, just gotta keep putting yourself out there. I get discouraged all the time but we gotta spin ya know :) 000
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 29/12/2025"Holiday Heart" is literally a diagnosis we give people with Atrial-fibrilation during christmas time because of how much people drink during the holidays. Sorry it's been hard for you to be around, hopefully after the holidays things will slow down and people will cut back on their drinking. 010

quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Recorded a new mix, was incredibly proud of it. Unfortunately, rekordbox included all the noises from windows and discord, meaning I have some sort of notification every 10 to 15 minutes go off. Not sure what to do. Anyone have any advice or suggestions? Thanks yall 100

quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 11/11/2025Always hard to pass up on gigs, but I'm always gonna prioritize my mental health and well being. Something I've always had a lot of pride in is knowing how to say no to things, but also knowing when I'm ok to push out of my comfort zone. 010
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 06/11/2025Thinking I just need to host a pop-up or just throw an event together so I can get my ass working on a set and figure out my settings. Would anyone be interested in spinning at the end of the month? 141
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 06/11/2025I've DJd before in VR using serato but with my new controller I've gotten to using Rekordbox which I've noticed is a little heavier on my PC. I will definitely look at cranking my safety settings, because I love DJing in VR and giving a full performance. 000

quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 24/08/2025Life has been really great. After just always feeling like the Detroit DJ scene was something I’d never really find my way into, I’ve made some really great friends. I’ve seen so many ideas and concepts I want to bring to VR too, when the mood strikes I can’t wait to jump on again. 040
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 06/08/2025first 10 minutes of an open decks I did last night didn't have quantize on. Sounded like I was just straight FARTIN, sooooo embarassing LMAO. 051
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 05/08/2025Quick video from my first gig in Detroit this last Thursday. Over the moon with how far I’ve come!!! Couldn’t have done it without this community giving me my legs to stand on and the confidence I need to perform for a crowd. 1130
quilvrc.bsky.social @quilvrc.bsky.social · 05/08/2025I am so happy to be back on Serato. The new public beta for v4.0 just added all the library management features I liked with rekordbox. 040
