Quill @quill.blue · 07/06/2026Since I'm alive again here's a random reference study from last night. 010
Quill @quill.blue · 05/06/2026I'm still alive, surprisingly! Just been really, uh, unfocused lately. Picked up Procreate and asked Char what to draw. She suggested Garnet/Dagger from FFIX. So I did that. 022
Quill @quill.blue · 21/03/202630 minutes of playing strictly using only the oil brushes in Procreate. It was actually really fun. I've been playing almost exclusively Thief in Marathon. :) #digitalart #marathon #thief 010
Quill @quill.blue · 15/03/2026Trying to apply some of the things I've been studying about the Arcane style lately to something original. Still kinda fell back into old habits but I'm quite happy with it. #deadlock #graves 130
Quill @quill.blue · 14/03/2026No human ever laid eyes on this product. It's a pop-up "Night Before Christmas". Pretty sure they just photocopied one from Hallmark. It has the Hallmark watermark and everything. And also doesn't use AAA batteries. 000
Quill @quill.blue · 25/02/2026Morning streeeeeetch! #celeste #deadlock #alcoholmarkers #traditionalart 020
Quill @quill.blue · 24/02/2026Tried out inks with my alcohol markers. They were pretty fun to work with. I need to get more into watercolour or gouache, it was fun to use a brush. #celeste #deadlock #traditionalart #alcoholmarkers 060
Quill @quill.blue · 23/02/2026Probably the first time I really drew a pose without having a direct reference. Obviously I looked off of other teardrop backbend images as reference, but couldn't find any that weren't directly from the side. #deadlock #celeste #digitalart 060
Quill @quill.blue · 12/02/2026Posting this here to consolidate. Drew Malevola from Dispatch for someone in the roleplay community. First time I've done any digital art in a couple months. Tried to stick to cell shading both because of the Dispatch style and to try it out. #dispatch #malevola #digitalart 1170
Quill @quill.blue · 12/02/2026Since we can't send images in DMs, I'm gonna just drop this publicly and tag @nocturnalophelia.bsky.social who asked me to give their OC a shot. Hilariously the pose reference I used was almost the same as their OC's reference which was unintentional so I didn't mean to just do a redraw. 020
Quill @quill.blue · 01/02/2026Went on Pinterest, picked the first couple pieces of art that caught my eye and did a redraw of them. Here's the original source for the Lydia image: x.com/click_burgun... The second I didn't realize until afterward is AI so I'm not even going to source the reference. :) 220
Quill @quill.blue · 27/01/2026An OC I RP with a friend (on Discord). Still not happy with my styling yet, but that's a sketch issue, not a colouring issue. Feel like I'm getting more in the groove with finishing sketches. Did some digital touch ups on this one. #alcoholmarkers #art 070
Quill @quill.blue · 10/01/2026Decided to try and sketch the big lad from my last sketch. Then I just kept going and going. And it's not in my main sketchbook, just one of my side books for practice stuff. Dangit! 010
Quill @quill.blue · 09/01/2026A little ambitious for my current ability but that's how we learn, right? Page 2 of my new sketchbook, trying to be more deliberate about my drawings in this one. 020
Quill @quill.blue · 07/01/2026Starting a new sketchbook in 2026 with the intent of filling every page with full pieces. Got another sketchbook for doodles, study and practice. Anyway, first page done! 010
Quill @quill.blue · 18/12/2025In one of my last D&D campaigns I had a culture of changlings living a relatively peaceful life earned by their role as effective spies in a previous war. They'd since adopted a neutral stance and carried history in the form of storytelling, dance and other performances. Been on my mind lately. 031
Quill @quill.blue · 10/12/2025Faded, printed then re-inked and coloured a drawing Stanley "Artgerm" Lau did at Singapore Comic Con. So obviously not my drawing, but I inked and coloured! :D 073
Quill @quill.blue · 29/11/2025Getting ready for a travel day tomorrow and discovered the joy of packing a lil analog kit for a solo RPG I found to play on the plane. 000
Quill @quill.blue · 22/11/2025Trying my hand at drawing one of my friends' OCs. No face claim, so fresh design off of her descriptions and suggested tweaks. 043
Quill @quill.blue · 10/11/2025Alright I'm /really/ enjoying DIE as I read it. The characters are interesting and the art is beautiful and some of the lines go HARD 130
Quill @quill.blue · 08/11/2025Another reference study, having fun adding texture to images to avoid the perfect polish of digital colours. 030
Quill @quill.blue · 29/10/2025Fan art I did for Veronica, one of the girls in the board game Final Girl, that I've been reeeeeally enjoying lately! 0123
Quill @quill.blue · 25/10/2025I need to start using this account to post my art and practice. Reference practice via digital last night. 011
Quill @quill.blue · 09/10/2025Took a break from my markers, opened up Procreate and tried to be painterly for a bit. :D 0185
Quill @quill.blue · 28/03/2025Want to try my hand at some creature design and concepts. Been watching a lot of Bobby Rebholz and figure I'll try some of his techniques out on some Monster Hunter designs. Sketch so far. Not used to a sketchbook this big. 021
Quill @quill.blue · 06/03/2025I've been enjoying getting screenshots of my Bloodborne Hunter. I meant my Monster Hunter Wilds character. 011
