I get that, I just don't think it's worth it. I think it's smarter to forget Palestine Action and organise under another name or none at all. This issue detracts from the people of Palestine and from the economic and cultural blockades we should be calling for.

Unpopular opinion: protest #Israel without mention of the proscribed organisation #Palestine Action. Stop encouraging protesters (especially elderly ones) to put themselves at risk. It makes the left look unreasonable and gives the impression scoring points is what matters most to us.

People are not being arrested for opposing genocide. They're being arrested for stating their support of Palestine Action. It's shameful that we're shoving elderly people out with these signs to face arrest and goodness knows what else, exploiting them knowing the police have no choice but to act.

Farage's speech at the Reform conference is reminiscent of Project 2025 and Trump's first 100 days. Sweeping changes to British democracy; threats made to the House of Lords, the judiciary, and the civil service. Essentially it's Trump's "dictator on day one" speech.

Andy Burnham must take stronger action on Gaza now - not just empty words. Greens have been clear all along the UK Labour government must end the genocide, ban all arms sales and sanction those responsible.
