wip wednesday my dudes! 🐺 /tw transformation

text reads: He patted around his pockets but found his revolver missing, as well as his utility knife. Somewhere along the way, his rifle had been ripped from him—he saw the strap for it at the far edge of the clearing, but no gun attached. All he had was his voice, his body.
As he ordered the beast to back away, though, Hongjoong felt something new, a sensation he couldn’t name. It was akin to the rattling of bones he’d felt on horseback or the badly-maintained motorbikes some of the officers drove, but it was coming from within him. Almost like a tingling in his bone marrow.
To his total shock, the beast listened. It took several steps backward, doubling the space between the two of them.
In his head, he got another impression. I won’t hurt you, he understood.
”Better safe than sorry,” he said aloud.
Please stay, it told him with a ducking of its black head, yellow gaze holding. I will tell. Give time?
“You—you want me to stay here?” He asked, incredulous.

text continues: The beast did a movement that almost approximated a nod, of all things. I want.
Though his heartbeat was rattling his whole chest, Hongjoong swallowed and nodded back. He wasn’t sure he could outrun this thing, but he might try to placate it long enough to get away. “Yeah, okay. I’ll stay a little longer. I need to find my people, though.”
Another duck of the beast’s head. Then it began to stretch, long at first and then arching his back. It struck Hongjoong that the thing looked tiger-like in its movement, fluid and heavy, unlike even the biggest dogs he’d ever met. He’d never met a tiger either, but he’d seen statues, and he’d surely seen enough of them represented in art to know their fangs stretched low over their lower jaw, just like this thing. If he had to guess, this was a wolf but somehow overgrown to the size of something tiger-like.
And then it started… misshaping itself.
