V. Prasad @quickdarshan.bsky.social · 30/01/2026Sad news about Catherine O’Hara. So many good roles but my favorite was Gail in AFTER HOURS where she packs so many great moments in maybe 5-10 minutes of screen time. 0113

V. Prasad @quickdarshan.bsky.social · 12/11/2024I programmed this film in my South Asian Film Series last year and it’s FINALLY available in the States (on Prmie). Highly recommended. A funny, moving, infuriating at times, heartwarming at others look at gig economy work in India. Directed by the great actress Nandita Das. 110
V. Prasad @quickdarshan.bsky.social · 11/11/2024Was teaching scene structure today and since I have a few students writing mysteries, I picked this as a good example of that moment where the character finally pieces it together. Do you have any favorite "solving the mystery" scenes I could recommend? 010
