In case you were wondering why I stopped streaming that silly wrestling show

So you might have noticed that Wrestling is Silly has, uh, vanished again.
And you might be wondering what happened. Did I just forget? Did I lose enthusiasm? Have I been replaced by a changeling that doesn't like wrestling anymore? Well the answer to all of those is no. So lets answer the question:

What happened to Wrestling is Silly?
The long and short of it is: I don't feel comfortable buying and continuing to stream WWE products. I haven't felt comfortable with it for a long time, what with their descent into becoming The Worst Wrestling Company. They are closely allied with the Trump administration. They have had horrible racist comedians do their Mania warm-up show. They have a big, sweetheart deal with the Saudi Government. They have a show exclusively on Rumble, and they have many, many people on staff and in their roster - including the main event - who are credibly accused of multiple sex crimes.

And for a while I just told myself it was different because I wasn't using any of their iconography. But I was still, effectively, marketing their game for them. Showing you all the cool and fun things you can do if you give the Hitler Wrestling Show at least £60. And that fucking sucks. I am not doing it.

So, until I can find a game that is not affiliated with the WWE, WiS is on hold.

I really liked this. So I made it into two wallpapers and set it to both my monitors. It's.. Not weird to have your own art as your wallpaper is it?

I want to get the "Dedication" in The Binding of Isaac. I ALSO want to get more active on @altstream.online. So I'm going to combine those two and do a short, daytime stream every weekday, only on Altstream, doing the Isaac Daily. altstream.online/queerbuccaneer

I finally made a Dear Hunter shirt design. SO many great lines and ideas rolling around, but I landed on this one, from Glass Desert II. I just absolutely fell in love with this line.

"If you believe in something, it better be yourself."
The first clause is behind the head of a retrofuturist pilot in a clunky helmet, the latter clause is in front of him.

The previous design mocked up on a t shirt

Fuck, where's that quote from the Peak Devs... Here it is. This should clear it up for you, make it super obvious what to charge.

“In a player’s mind, what does it mean to spend five bucks? Well, that’s five bucks. But six bucks? Well, that’s still five bucks.

“Four bucks is also kind of five bucks,” he continued. “Three bucks is two bucks. And two bucks is basically free.

“So we’ve got these tiers: You know, twelve bucks… that’s ten bucks. But thirteen bucks is fifteen bucks.

“And we found that eight bucks is still five bucks. It doesn’t become ten bucks. Seven ninety nine, that’s five bucks, right?

Gradients are bad for icons at small size, best I can do you is Halftone (and I ain't too happy about this one lmao)

But to loop all the way around, this, I think, is the simplest and probably best. Doesn't rely on language, you _CAN_ translate the footer or omit it completely. Simples.

Something like this, perhaps. The hand in the "Love" symbol, to show it was made with love, by humans. And the focus on what it has is nicer than on what it lacks. Problem, again, is this is unclear. You don't instantly look at this and think "that means it has no AI in it". Symbols are hard

I saw another designer use { } with a symbol between to represent different uses of AI in media. But the curly brackets ALONE aren't strong enough indicators of AI to be recognised.+

Four symbols to represent AI Audio, AI Writing, AI Subtitles and AI Lip Syncing. They are curly brackets with symbols between them.
