That spider made me jump out of my seat in my first playthrough when it crashed down on me. Should have expected a surprise like that I guess. I find it very cool that the voices in the English translation sound almost exactly the same like in the Japanese original. FromSoft's love for details.

It is. And I absolutely hope there will be more. Not FromSoft, but I look forward to Code: RAPID that you posted a few weeks ago. That looks like fun, too.

I was very late to the party (got the game for Christmas last year), but I fell in love with it almost instantly! It's so good. Was slow to figure everything out, but that's ok, it was my first Armored Core and mecha type game. That spot there took me at least 5 attempts *lol

Kinda sorry for the ACVI spam, I can't help myself. That game is just SO DAMN GOOD. (Be glad y'all didn't have to endure my Elden Ring obsession, too.... yet)

End of ch.2 in Armored Core VI is the best cinematic in the game, imho. You get a glimpse at how these gigantic machines work, and they captured that so well. Basically, a cargo rocket launcher is our travelling device here. Some more like these big ones, like the STRIDER, phenomenal, too.

You don't get to call out corruption, and be ok with it when it suits you (or your team in this case). You either are against ALL corruption, or you aren't against corruption at all. There is no middle ground. It's irrelevant if this wasn't FIFA's "most corrupt action". That bar is VERY low. 2/2

With all due respect, and I usually like your work, but: "not unreviewable" doesn't mean the head of state of one of the host nations gets to make a call to the head of FIFA on behalf of his country's team. If the TEAM puts in a request for review, nobody would have batted an eye. But not POTUS. 1/2

Even though the Fires of Raven ending of Armored Core VI to me is the most upsetting ending in terms of the moral of committing a genocide of an entire planet, it also comes with one of the best pieces of music in the OST. "The Man Who Burned It All" is SO good. We turn into a monster, but in style.

Actually glad I found some Mecha people here, my other friends aren't really into this genre (I still love them, obviously, and they still endure my obsession anyway), and without your post I might have never known about Code Rapid. So, thanks again.

Very true. I'm glad AC6 is as good as it is, so I can replay that many more times (still lots of builds and weapons I want to check out more than just for one mission). I don't have the older ones, I'm new to this genre, and never owned a console, so yeah. But happy for any good addition.

Finally got a game that I'm actually hyped about again. There are way too few good mecha games out there. They put the expectations really high with that demo, I hope they can deliver. But so far, looking good.

I tried that Comet thing you mentioned, where you press CTRL to kinda crash into the floor if you've been in the air, I should have recorded my diabolical laughter. That was unreasonably satisfying. I'm really hoping the devs keep going with it. It's really high quality for a demo, too. So smooth.

I just played it and it's awesome. M/KB works fine, it runs really smooth on my toaster on medium settings. Sadly can't support the Kickstarter, but it will go straight on my wishlist. Thanks for posting this!

I hope they burn in hell for putting their hands on a NUN.
