I can definitely understand that. When I get stuff in my fursuit, I'm usually more worried about damage or it being something gross. The fleas seemed harmless when I encountered them at AC, but I hadn't thought of personal space. I guess I'm just sensitive about "NEW FURRY DRAMA" posting.

I’m always amazed by the assumption that fursonas are “cute.” Maybe it’s an elder furry thing, but I’ve noticed how many fursonas for older furries feature something like “hit by a train“ or “missing an eye and not in a cool way.”

I’ve found poetry to be the art of spending 30 minutes angsting over whether to use “of” or “in” because it changes EVERYTHING. And then I edit the next line and suddenly find that swapping ”in” back to “of” would be punchier. Every word in a novel matters but every word in a poem is load-bearing.

This was really well said. I think that a big part of why AI poetry is a thing is because it’s a lot cheaper than getting AI to barf out a 20,000 word novel. It also says how little guys think of poetry that “unique” is all that matters. You might as well just keyboard smash and call it a “poem.”

Sucks. I got to handle one of these back when they were ”The Future of Shotguns” and was shocked by how cheap it felt. It also stole “streetsweeper” as a word to describe combat shotguns that are better, cooler-looking, and actually useful for fighting in tight spaces.
