The Peruvian authorities arrested a man trying to board a plane last week in Lima while carrying 320 tarantulas, 110 centipedes and nine bullet ants, according to the National Forest and Wildlife Service of Peru.

Major celebration for round bird season! A Wood Thrush has been hanging out in Irvine Regional Park in Orange County CA and drawing 100s per day. Although common in parts of the United States, extremely rare here. 🪶

It's always thrilling to get near a large flock of migrating Sandhill Cranes. This is only a small portion of them--this field had at least 100 cranes in it! #birds 🪶
