Their work is titled “The Complexity of Single-Interaction Hamiltonians” where they study the complexity of Local Hamiltonian problems under the restriction that every local term is an unweighted occurrence of the same fixed interaction.

The opposing side is more organized, with a dedicated whatsapp group. They claim not to oppose it completely, just to make sure its safe, requesting to limit exposure to 1.5 miligauss - which as I understand is close to the ambient threshold so effectively making any change impossible.

Depressing: my son’s school wants to install solar panel and batteries and some parents are spreading disinformation on risks, making more parents anxious. There’s cast a vote to suspend the first school day - and I think they will win. I tried explaining the science as much as I can but to no avail

I gotta admit, I was cynical about attending our MSc ceremony. After all - I have the degree already, so what use is there for dressing up and receiving a certificate on stage? But seeing how my kids were proud of their dad, and how it inspired them was a great feeling indeed.

Sure, maybe if you give it the right context (papers, examples, etc...) it could help. I think a challenge would be in more unconventional flows - e.g. some adaptiveness cannot be modeled and simulated in a single run..
