Absolutely adored this movie. I haven’t laughed this hard in a while, and I loved the surreal elements blending with the political ones to illustrate the absurdity of life in the current era.

They absolutely nailed the ending of this one, synthesizing all the disparate elements. It’s so easy to lose sight as a leftist/activist of the other people fighting alongside you since capitalism tries to divide and isolate us, but cooperative action is possible. Fuck yeah.

This was made in a lab just for me. It’s my hole. I love it here.

I know it’s cliche to say “it’s everything I hoped it would be and more,” but as someone who got very into KanePixels’ short films and who loves this entire oeuvre… it’s true.

Plus: those fucking?? Dutch angles focused on the sky, hello??? The one thing I could never puzzle out from the short films was whether they were trying to say something or they just existed as very cool, well thought-out absurdist concept pieces.

And all I can say is: Mr. Pixels and team, holy shit. I get it now. I get what you’re trying to say. Thank you for this gift.

Vinyl haul from a shop in Cbus I’d wanted to visit & finally did, Roots Records. Was really impressed by the selection of electronic genres and hip hop/rap there; most smaller record stores here tend to cater more to a classic rock crowd and anything else is just icing on top. Will def be back
