Open source doesn't mean developers don't need funding—it just means they're using a different business model, like Ardour. Consider donating to your favorite projects to help keep them alive. Here are some suggestions: * Ardour * Linux Studio Plugins * Qtractor * Zrythm * Airwindows * […]

Merged the development branch into the main branch. From here on, no new features will be added, only stabilization and bug-fixing work will be done until the release of v3.8.

Today, some fixes were made to the Entropicontron/Glitch effect, and cross-fade was added to avoid artifacts. A dry/wet control for the Glitch will also be added. All of this will be available in v1.2. #audioplugins

Finished the UI and DSP for the "Rgate" module for Entropictron. Some refinements are still needed. The invented name "Rgate" refers to randomly silencing or reducing the sound at random interval, gain, and duration. It also supports an inverted mode. #audioplugins #musicproduction

Development of Entropictron 1.2 has started with a new Random Gate module. It randomly silences the input sound, with parameters for silence duration, interval timing, and gain range (how much the sound is silenced). #audioplugins

Working on adding local/global entropy parameter for Entropictron. For now, here are the results for just two parameters from the noise module: gain and cutoff. This is not parameter automation. It already seems capable of generating the sound of a rainy day on the beach. #Entropictron #synths […]

Tested Entropictron on Windows as well. It works. It remains to polish things, improve stability, and write documentation, and we are close to the first release. #audioplugins

Regarding Geonkick presets license. The license applies only to the Geonkick presets themselves. Sounds generated using Geonkick, including those created with the presets, are not subject to the preset license. #synth

Entropictron now can save/load the plugin state. codeberg.org/quamplex/entropictron. Next is to implement setting to DSP the factory presets. #AudioPlugins
