Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 03/05/2026🌞 Curious what's going on with #TowersOfTheSun? Here's the first of 2 bigger March dev updates from the team. Right now, we're specifically focused on looking through the proposed changes to the game from @allplay.bsky.social for their upcoming version. Exciting stuff for us at the studio! 🤩 020
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 28/04/2026That sounds very cool. Where can we learn more about the fruits of your exploration? 000
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 28/04/2026Despite being a publisher, we are very interested in hearing more about this, as we continue our transition to more of a design-driven studio rather than a market-driven business. 021
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 18/03/2026🐉 #DragonEyes, one of our upcoming games, is going through its final development, at a stage where the product design is becoming as much of a focus as the gameplay. If you're interested to learn more, stay tuned, we'll be revamping and opening up our playtest group quite soon! 031
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 03/02/2026👀 We're busy reviewing the Allplay version of #TowersOfTheSun this month as development appears to be wrapping up! 040

Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 22/04/2025Absolutely fantastic art! 😍 We don't have an immediate project but we've made note of your contact info for when we do if it would be something that fits your style. 010
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 09/02/2025We'd be curious to know if any pubs out there aren't using the Adobe Cloud suite and if so how has the interaction with factories been using other, potentially free layout software? 021
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 09/02/2025We use GDocs for the text side, then when ready crack open InDesign for layout. But we always keep a raw GDoc version updated so we don't have to pull the text back out later. 010
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Very interesting to see! Any idea who made it? 110
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Our hierarchy of life is something like: Red Pandas > Humans > Robots 😅 010
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Big time agree and quoted to clarify. Thanks for sharing this take! 010
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 27/01/2025We are a small publisher / two people and we would never take the stance that gen AI tools would help us. We second this notion that if you are trying to pay artists, you'll find a way, if what you're making has an audience. People want human-made art! 050
Reposted by Quality Beast🥧 suzanne 🥧 @425suzanne.bsky.social · 27/01/2025As an avid supporter of print-and-play roll-and-write #BoardGames, I'm dismayed by the increase of "AI art" used by the designers. This is what I sent to a designer today. So bummed, the game looks good. But there are lots of good games coming out and I'll toss my $ at those not using AI "art". 1820719
Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 20/01/2025We're not sure what the post was (though we can guess), but we're sending you good vibes from Berlin for anything you are going through. 🤗 020

Quality Beast @qualitybeast.bsky.social · 25/12/2024Look for a blog post from us in Q1, where we'll share what's coming from Quality Beast. But for anyone out there wondering: we're still here, just a bit more quiet than usual due to our focus on the games we've been working on. Some reveals to come... 2/3 130

No surprise there, as both games are delightful - though we're a bit biased of course. 😉 If you were at Spellenspektakel, let us know what you took home with you! 030
