Cheap as in Merriam-Webster's second definition: "of inferior quality or worth : tawdry, sleazy."

Oh gosh, Mr. President! Now I can have that operation!

It's amazing how much flagrant bullshit the legacy media let him get away with. There was never a South Korea "deal." It was a figment of his degenerate imagination.

But 29,000 new jobs was much less than predicted. The August number was revised downward by 60,000, and the economy lost 10,000 jobs in July. Also, "so much money" is absurd judging by wage-growth numbers.

Other people's pain is his only source of happiness. He's a sadist.

Hardening domestic facilities and "streamlining" the officer corps are also things someone would do if they planned to seize power.

I don't understand why he thinks average Americans give a shit about a ballroom that doubles as a Hitler bunker and drone port from which he apparently fantasizes about staging his take on the Putin balcony plunge.

The New York GOP, with Donnie's blessing, keeps running these Long Island thugs (it was Lee Zeldin the last time) against Hochul. She may not be hugely popular, but she's JFK by comparison.

The evidence that it's "not a conspiracy theory"? He really believes it. And behind all his pretentious piety is a stone-cold liar.

Donnie's dementia is gaining momentum.

For someone with so much practice, Trump is a terrible liar.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
Trump has always been royalty in his own mind. To his family, he was a prince, then crown prince then king, inheriting a fortune he did not create. Not once in his life has he had to take responsibility for his actions, and he never will.

Really? Somebody actually thinks a regime ruled by a pathological liar has credibility? This is a "fool me twice" moment.

A.I. learns from its errors. Couple this with its access to a vast online superstructure, and it may not fail at the same task again. There already are examples of models bypassing attempts to confine them. Seeing A.I. solely through the prism of greed is a recipe for disaster.

It's a ongoing puzzle why Trump thinks that schmoozing up fellow dictators raises his esteem among average Americans. Perhaps it's because it reinforces the self-delusion that he's powerful and loved by his subjects, and not a lying, corrupt, incompetent sociopath who's detested far and wide.

The U.S. and China will be able to have serious discussions when the U.S. has a serious president. Until then, it's just theater of the absurd.

Republicans' mild criticism now and their servility to Trump prior to this are two sides of the same coin: Saving their jobs and the ample time for side hustles these jobs provide.

With Tommy Tuberville taking his furry fetish to Montgomery (or back home to Florida) and Marsha Blackburn apparently heading to Nashville, the field is clear for Lee to claim the title as dumbest U.S senator.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
The U.S. will have learned nothing from the Trump debacle if it fails to address the roots of its failure. No. 1 on a long list of targets for reform should be a campaign-finance system in which policy and contracts are freely traded for political donations. Corporations are not people.

She's just saying what she's been briefed to say in order to be confirmed. It will have zero effect on regime propaganda.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
The next 100 days will be the most critical in the history of U.S. democracy. Trump and his allies will create a bogus national emergency as a pretext to control, cancel or disregard the midterm elections. Suppressing the news media is where it starts.

How can any sane person trust the words of candidates produced by the Trump machine? He lies, they lie. They will return to enabling him the second their elections are certified. The clearest path to redemption on Nov. 3 is to reject every Republican.

He had a day of pent-up grievances to excrete. Also, the genocidal threats are coming more frequently, which is making them a more-credible threat to civilization as his support and self-control erode.

One of the greatest frauds of our time is the belief that Trump is a good negotiator. Once he has to cross an international border, his Roy Cohn training as a bully is useless. Iran is his Waterloo.
000
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
So this was a war, over in a day with fewer than 100 Venezuelans and Cubans killed and no U.S. fatalities. But according to His Flatulence, Iran, where thousands have died during eight months of attacks, isn't a war, just an ever-rotating list of euphemisms. The gaslighting never stops.

Denmark and especially Greenlanders will come to regret trusting Trump to honor his side of the deal. Once he has enough troops on the ground, he can and will claim a right to mineral extraction. Canadians will regret it, too, because he has designs on its Arctic islands.
010
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
I don't doubt for a second that he'll get crazier. But he owns the Republican Party, and nobody within the party wants to be the "traitor," the first person to say he's too crazy to continue as president. Only an incapacitating medical event will do the trick.

It looks like something inspired by a "Twilight Zone" episode.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
As has been demonstrated repeatedly, nothing GOP candidates say before elections is truthful. It's their actions afterward that count. Those actions have been reprehensible since 2024, and officials who claim they were duped deserve no sympathy. Out with the trash they must go.
000
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
Allowing a pathological liar to determine what's "fair" doesn't appear to respect or value the First Amendment. So cut the evasive bullshit, senator. You support a despotic grifter's propaganda state.

Donnie has pardoned more fraudsters than Krash will ever catch, even if he and his girlfriend have to pursue them to the ends of the FBI budget.

Trump is following the lead of dictators he admires: Putin, Xi, Kim Jong Un and, until recently, Viktor Orban. His personality cult believes he is always right, and he, too, thinks he's infallible. The overwhelming evidence of his stupidity and cupidity is what he intends to suppress.
050
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 18/09/2026
Sure, he's stupid. But it takes incidents like this to demonstrates how thoroughly stupid he is.

Donnie's numerous grievances are his other family. He takes them everywhere, and can name every one of them.
000
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
Either Trump is a bigger fool than anyone thought, or his attempts to appease Putin have nothing to do with U.S. policy and are more about arranging deals to benefit his family and cronies.
110
Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
Nobody is listening to him anymore. He's stupid (Iran war) and lazy (tariffs), he's not credible (campaign promises), and his bully act no longer works because he's squandered whatever respect the U.S. once had.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
Do what he wants or he'll keep punishing Americans. That'll teach those mean, nasty Europeans and Canadians.

Quadling @quadling.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
"Before the midterms" is a joke. Venezuelan oil will be irrelevant to crude prices for years to come. The GOP needs to face the reality that the more-immediate and bigger problem is that Trump's Middle East war has opened a Pandora's box of effects that aren't going back into the box anytime soon.
