I think I do feel a little bit proud! For reading, I'd like to be able to eventually read literary fiction with relative ease. I picked up an acclaimed book of short stories loosely based around the concept of house/home, and I'm still struggling through it now, haha

Just a note, the more literal translation is "I hope you stop being in front of the hotel," but this is a standard politeness hedge in Korean which favors indirect communication. He's strongly asking people to not do this. This portion of the message is both extremely polite and very direct.

The way I went about ti was to get down the basics on a cursory level, and then I started doing the hardest stuff I could tolerate until it felt easy and then repeat... But that's...a very graduate school way of approaching this which is probably not fun for a lot of people. Have fun with it first!

Things you learn in an elevator: In Switzerland, it is illegal to own a single guinea pig because these animals need social interaction.
