Walls are turning out to be a treasure trove of funny, perplexing, or horrific things to make into a multiversal entity. A trebuchet planeswalker? Drawbridge? A gate? Hard to imagine these thing sentient and some kinda hero or villain.

How about these designs I just came up with? I was gonna have the red one make X TWICE the damage dealt. Then I remembered red is the easiest at dealing damage to its own creatures. So Lightning Bolt is already really good with this one without doubling it.

Has it been long enough that we can finally unban Jeweled Lotus, Mana Crypt, and/or Dockside Extortionist without rewarding the bad behavior of the harassers from a couple years ago? We didn't have the Bracket system back then, and that is clearly the correct place for them.

I also think we should add Sol Ring to game changers, but then I'd add one more for bracket 3. The variance of starting with Sol Ring is way too high and often unfun. I think precons should be designed for Bracket 2, but maybe include 4 game changers and a guide to the bracket system to upgrade.

Some Commanders were removed from Game Changers last year, and the main reason I heard was that if the ARE your Commander, people can meta game. And if they AREN'T, these aren't that bad in the 99. I disagree. These are some that aren't used fairly.

As someone who plays bracket 2 & 3 against random strangers regularly, I think we need to add many more game changers, but possibly allow another in bracket 3. There are some braindead best-in-slot cards. It is too easy to accidentally make a technically bracket 2 deck that is unfun and oppressive.

Yeah, this is one of those areas where magic color philosophy doesn't always match what characters names and titles are. Gandalf the White got lucky. But plenty like Black Panther won't match up since T'Challa is would not make sense to have the black color identity in Magic.

Not that there weren't any Elves on Mirrodin, of course, but they were being careful not to accidentally give the best green card in Fifth Dawn to them so they didn't become the best deck in Standard. So there were plenty of Humans with no typal synergies. The green Humans are the Sylvok!

He would have been my #1 choice to play Rauru, the King of Hyrule in a live action Zelda movie. They finally are making one, cast another of my childhood favorite actors from (Sam Niell from Jurassic Park) and now he too has passed away, but he finished the role. I'll be thinking of them both.

Also in Commander, basic land types do add to color identity. So strangely while you can play Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in any deck, you would not be able to play any Plains, Islands, or Swamps in a red/green Commander deck without that rulebreaker ability.

Most lands have mana symbols in their text box that limit what decks they can be played in for Commander. For instance, Bojuka Bog is not a black card, it is colorless. But it has the black color identity because of that black mana symbol, and color identity only matters for Commander deck building.
