Fold a piece of paper into a straight tube with a triangular cross-section. Glue the sides. Can you feel the stiffness? Our SIGGRAPH 2025 paper, "C-Tubes: Design and Optimization of Tubular Structures Composed of Developable Strips", extends this process to arbitrary tube shapes and cross-sections.
