One’s own morning coffee is pretty special. My triple espresso using Thai Arabica beans roasted in my ‘hood by a friend, topped up with hot milk, a sprinkle of nutmeg & cinnamon, in my favourite large mug that fits my large hand is the best cup of coffee I’ve had anywhere in the world. 🙂

Yes. We’re deep in the old Phattanawet neighbourhood of Pridi 26 that was developed in the 1960s. All the old houses flooded as all the new houses had raised their lots.

For those asking for my Dijon mustard recipe, I used this one but doubled everything to make 6 jars, and used a bottle (750ml) of wine and a bottle (500ml) of white wine vinegar & only 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth, final simmer before jarring can be longer to get it to the right consistency.

Yes! But difficult to find and order from Southeast Asia. Brought some back from last trip to Montreal and recently ordered a kilo online. Pricy. South Asian yellow mustard seeds don’t work as well.

I have perfected my Dijon mustard recipe. Canadian mustard seeds, more garlic, more white wine, less water and a longer smooth blend. So much tastier than store bought and I know every ingredient that has gone into it. Staying away from processed foods.
