"Girlfriend" being used in a platonic sense is kind of a double edged sword. On one hand it kinda diminishes the validity of WLW relationships, but on the other hand when I accidentally let slip something about my girlfriends, grandma doesn't know I'm in a polyamorus relationship yet.
