In our case, 1 of the USB drives is considered unofficial. The data is uploaded to the county’s public website so the AP and NYT etc can do their thing. The other USB is “official” and is uploaded to a closed network that doesn’t connect to the internet.

So, hypothetically, let say an internet connection was involved and votes were flipped…then it would be caught pretty easily as the altered results would neither match the physical tapes or USB drives from the machines.

Our machines also produce 4 copies of a final tape that lists all the votes by candidate. Copies of the tape go to the counters and county election division, the inspector of elections keeps 1 and 1 is posted to door of the precinct for public viewing. The public posting isn’t an election standard

In our county the machines have two removable USB drives which go to where ever they count the votes. The machine doesn’t have an internet connection. I believe most places operate this way.

No. I use it for anxiety, which is way worse a night. Trazodone doesn’t have that brain fog effect that Zoloft has. And if I don’t take it I don’t get the brain zaps.
