PSA: If you use custom VRChat avatars, be aware that Poiyomi (the popular VRC shader) got hacked. #vrchat #poiyomi

Screenshot of an announcement on Poiyomi's Discord saying the following:
- Poiyomi's Discord account, email, and Patreon have been compromised
- As of the time of the announcement (4/12 8pm, unknown timezone), the shader itself has not been compromised, but staff say to NOT download new versions of the shader by any means until further notice
- Do NOT trust DMs from Poiyomi's account right now
- Existing shader installs are safe

Had a burst of motivation and have been focused on learning Blender this past week. Already finished the donut tutorial and onto some paid ones. Hopefully I can keep this up. Here's a render from the current course I'm working through.

A render of a beige scifi crate with small glass panels and a lit interior that hints at something inside.

Using line art from canonkiller (ko-fi.com/s/4df69dca12) I decided to take a stab at a night fury version of Pyro.

Colored in line art of a chibi night fury. Red body with a lighter beige belly, darker red scales, spikes, and claws, orange wings and tail, blue stripes, and bright green eyes.

Turned one of my personal VRChat avatar recolors into another fursona. Meet Mango the protogen shuttle pilot.

Reference sheet for a protogen named "Mango". Mango is a fairly standard style protogen, though with two sets of ears instead of the normal single set. Fur is generally brown, with a lighter brown on the chest and a rusty brown on the lower arms and legs. The tip of the tail is also rusty brown, with a secondary circle of rusty brown just above the tip, and the tips of the ears are also rusty brown. Head and neck fluff is a purplish pink. The armor is a metallic gray with a slight red reflective tint, with the edges of the screens and visor rimmed with red. There are a few green indicator lights on the chest armor. The color used for the face and screen icons is also green; an icon of a flying spaceship is used for the "headphone" screens, and an icon of a ringed planet is used for the arm and leg screens. The claws are a dark aquamarine color, with dark pink pawpads.

For the record, it seems like people were wondering what happened to your post.

A reddit post on the subreddit r/avali with the title "what happened to 2 ears?" and the post text "why did he delete? i think we may have chased them off :(". There are 22 comments in reply to the post.

Probably not the exact model but it looked like this. We got around 1995, it had a maybe 75 MHz processor and was running Windows 95.

A marketing image of an old Packard Bell computer from the 1990s.
