She is the strongest hero in the solar system. She can channel the power of a beast 70 times her size into a single punch. In this aspect she has no equal. But like the singular steps of a kaiju in a city, what would become of a world where she goes all out? What change comes from colossal choices?

A blinding, piercing, heavy light that reminds you of your sacrament to the dirt as Earthborn. All you can do is look up at the arbiter of your fate. (New Vidia look that I might stick with for a while)

AND THAT’S A WRAP on #Kaijune ! Thank you for joining me on this journey. Which monsters were your favorites? I hope you enjoyed the output and expect to see these monsters again in the pages of Astral Drift in the future

FINAL #kaijune drawing of Astral Drift critters Jiroga is an aggressive and haughty Great Beast that holds grudges against those that have angered her. The gold scales that run up and down her body conduct the most intense electric charge on Earth.

130

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Cooper has simple pleasures. He enjoy the outdoors, he likes to fish and keep bees. He relishes thoughtful conversation with meaningful company. To maintain his lax lifestyle, he is often employed for the use of his Astral Drift.

050

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Xi’Rot is two organisms: the colossal larval arthropod and the mycelium colony that grows in it. The fungus releases spores that, if breathed in, compels lifeforms towards the larva to be devoured.

050

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Inqali bioship is considered the deadliest of its warship class, with a record number of victories against Great Beasts and villains throughout its career on Earth. The number of hafjin bodies used to forge it is top secret.

030

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Tera Tundorah is the largest Great Beast on Earth, the most powerful and undefeated apex lifeform to have appeared since the Astral Awakening. Half of Europe, Canada and Asia are now in permafrost, part of his uncontested domain.

081

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters There is a town in NAL territory with a legend of a being that fell from the skies and was nursed back to health by the townsfolk. In gratitude, the entity became that town’s guardian. The town remains untouched to this day.

060

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The ravenous, fast-spreading Mantichira are among the most feared of creatures from the Astral Awakening. They elicit an existential dread for the sheer fact that their sole diet is humans; They will hunt and eat nothing else.

050

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Aethonicorn is one of the first Great Beasts discovered by Earth’s scientists to have a low aggression level. While still hostile to large civilizations, Aethonicorn seems to prefer intimidation displays over full-on rampages.

051

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters This coral-painted colossal amphibious kaiju shows no aggression to Earthlings. Its only desire is to seek out and eat toxic pollutants, clean up waterways and sometimes crawl onto land to devour a poorly regulated power plant.

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Samakashan is the largest Tiqna bioship in the solar system. What it lacks in speed it makes up for in raw power and crew carrying capacity. Its large glowing “gems” are a hyper advanced plasma missile targeting system.

030

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Gigara was a rogue Great Beast who fought other kaiju during the Astral Awakening. She saved the planet from the eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano at the expense of her life. Now, she is reborn in the body of a Drifter hero on Earth.

082

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Arigmotha, the Final Glutton. An Eldritch the size of a kaiju, Arigmotha is an agent of chaos even among fellow Eldritch; He would be only happy once he were the last thing alive, having eaten all things in the universe.

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Gion, the Million Minds. Once one enters a living host they assume direct control in minutes. After a few days, the original host mind dies completely. As long as a single worm lives, Gion cannot die.

021

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Kuriande, the Cruel Fang. This venomous Eldritch is acutely skilled at causing pain and suffering; Leading the Eldritch invasion of the Jupiter moon Callisto, there is one Drifter immune to existential vertigo, for whom he hates.

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Z’Rokon, the Stalking Whisper. This small Eldritch is mute, but can speak through others’ bodies, latching onto their backs and heads with an arm. Worse, prolonged exposure is addictive; the victim will want to be controlled.

052

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Nosthu, the Boundless Grasp. Nosthu’s Eldritch form is always shifting, never static. Close proximity can result in an “existential vertigo”, a forced dissociation with your sense of being, of reality, a psychological free-fall.

061

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Chelistarata is a terrifying enigma in the science community; This Great Beast seems to prefer space as its main habitat, existing in asteroid fields, creating web systems thousands of miles long that can catch careless star pilots.

031

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Carcarrion is the sole Great Beast of Mars and a bad surprise for colonists who sought to rebuild their ideals of old Earth on Mars away from the other kaiju, only for Mars to be plagued by one that can cross land, sand and sea.

072

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Atavi are the indigenous people of Mars. Though they cannot achieve traditional Astral Drifts, they have a macabre ability to transfer the powers from corpses in life into items, armor and weapons forged from them.

053

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Echo Rush is a supply runner that mainly operates between Copernicus and Oceanus, two major colonies on Earth’s terraformed moon. A seasoned parkour athlete, his Astral Drift allows him to shift into a large bat beast in a pinch.

051

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The deadly Qarash bioship is a scourge of the skies and seas and a shame of the Hafjin Junta: a bioship stolen and commandeered by Natan pirates that has now shifted the playing field on international waters.

021

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Great Roc Vronti is not very large or powerful but its status as a holy animal in Roclan culture grants it government protection. It is not outwardly hostile to people that respect its presence.

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters Skalabak is a rare and elusive nomadic Great Beast that prefers to be left alone. When provoked, it is known to rampage for days, wantonly ramming through infrastructure and uprooting miles of terrain by tearing through the earth

093

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Karabasti, swarms of alien creatures of various shapes/ sizes who know nothing but hostility at all life. Were it not for being tethered to the tears in the Astral Plane that let them enter Main Earth, they’d overrun the planet

Spending #kaijune drawing Astral Drift critters The Hibari has been with the Namir family for generations, since before the hafjin escaped through the Astral Plane into Main Earth. It was a crucial asset during the Avenging War against the Great Beasts.
