Wanna see a magic trick? I'm going to make all these materials disappear.

As an aside, I don't think this camo canvas is used anywhere else in the game and that's pretty neat

Sometimes OCs go off-model and some ideas get hard to represent ingame. That's where art comes in! I commissioned @guildwuff2.bsky.social for this lovely ref sheet of Welxx and Rocco! It turned out perfect, thank you so much!

A digital drawing of a reference sheet of my Guild Wars 2 character, Welxx. Several items are included in this image. From the top left onward;

- An example of Welxx's golem, Rocco, when shapeshifted into different weapons. A greatsword, staff, pistol, and hammer are shown.

- The jar Rocco's body is stored inside of, next to a small cube 'eye' floating in motion.

- Rocco's fully-formed body, mimicking a pose Welxx is making where he throws his hands in the air.

- Welxx himself, posed front-to-back, showing off his outfit.

Color palates for each of these are included alongside some notes that mention solid parts of Rocco's body appearing metallic, and that Rocco's jar can be carried on Welxx's back or belt.

Meet Erriyl and his husband Vhloss. ...and Erriyl's combined 1200lbs of Manticore and Griffon in Thorn and Thistle.

A screenshot of Guild Wars 2 depicting two Asura characters. Erriyl is on the left and Vhloss is on the right. Erriyl's posture is drawn-in, with his hands held up to his chin so as to express his admiration of something. Vhloss is in a more neutral stance.

Both of their outfits are in earth-tones, with brown and green as prominent colors. Erriyl's sports many glowing ant metallic elements while Vhloss' is more reserved.

Erriyl and Vhloss overlook a manticore, Thorn, as he breathes fire.

Erriyl and Vhloss admire Thistle, a Griffon. Vhloss is giving Erriyl a slightly exasperated look.

I cannot recommend stick figures enough. Seriously.

Welxx does! He also has a habit of grabbing them when he's anxious.

A little picture of Trynnt and his wife Seffi by a friend! Trynnt belongs to me, Seffi belongs to @gromrig.bsky.social

A digital painting of two Asura characters from Guild Wars 2. It's nighttime in a forest clearing. Trynnt snuggles up to Seffi and the two smile while Seffi roasts a marshmallow at a campfire. They've both gotten lost in the moment as with their eyes closed, the marshmallow has caught fire.

He was a skater boy- No he's not, Welxx is a dork. But! He looks great in the new outfit and the hood is perfect for concealing his identity!

Trynnt's here and putting his skills of artifice on full display! New commission from bsky.app/profile/astr... ! Everything turned out absolutely gorgeous and the process was a delight. Thank you again!

A piece of digital artwork showing off my Asura character Trynnt from Guild Wars 2. He's smiling and posing with his right hand on his hip and his left hand and leg raised to hold on to a hammer, whose head his foot is resting on top of.

A number of visual effects surround him, including flickering holographic lights, swirling liquid metal surrounding his body, and a small golemite and larger golem at his side and behind his back.

He's wearing silver glasses, a red scarf, a blue coat with brown leather bands and silver armor plates, black pants, and leather gloves and boots. His right arm sports a holosmith's photon forge which is active and glowing with blue hexagonal patterns.

The hammer in his left hand is silver with gold accents and blue crystal light effects. The core of the hammer's head and haft have been removed to make room for a reservoir of liquid metal.

I'll toss Kohho into the mix!

Congrats on 300! Here's Trynnt! He's an Explorer and Artificer working for the Durmand Priory, an expert in all things magitech and a master of fusing the elements with engineering. His greatest achievement is using Aurene's prismaticite crystals to convert one type of magic to another.

I've been back in WoW lately and it's Vulpera VThursday. Nailed it. Meet Sharro, Tigorro, and Kraaru. They're siblings!

A screenshot of my Vulpera hunter, Sharro. He's posing while holding a polearm in his right hand and looking away from the camera. He has red fur with beige accents, silver earrings, and amber eyes. His armor is a mix of scalemail and boiled leather and is primarily red, brown, and gold.

A screenshot of my Vulpera rogue, Tigorro. He's posing while holding a pair of curved swords and looking away from the camera. He has red fur with beige accents, silver earrings, and heterochromatic blue and amber eyes. He wears a red scarf and a heavy leather coat. One of his swords is blue and the other is red.

A screenshot of my Vulpera monk, Kraaru. He's posing while holding a staff in his right hand slung over his shoulder and looking away from the camera. He has red fur with beige accents, silver earrings, and blue eyes. His armor is a simple collection of cloth wraps, leather pants and boots, and his staff is a simple wooden rod.

Seffi and Welxx ft. a hamber by anchors-art on tumblr Seffi belongs to @gromrig.bsky.social and Welxx is mine

A sketch comic featuring my and my friend's Guild Wars 2 characters, Welxx and Seffi. In each panel, Welxx is on the left and Seffi is on the right. The comic is in grayscale with no color.

In the first panel, Welxx is holding a hammer. A thought bubble over his head shows an emoji of the hammer. Seffi, next to him, speaks saying "I don't think you understand how much I love you."

In the second panel Welxx turns to look at Seffi, points at the hammer he's holding, and exclaims "Hamber!" Seffi, blushing, continues her previous thought by saying "like, it is indescribable."

Thanks for hosting! I'll add to the goblin pile with Trynnt and Aavic. Trynnt's an explorer and an inventor in the Durmand Priory. Whatever he finds in the field becomes new technology back home! Aavic is to magic what Trynnt is to Magitech. He helps write the Priory's spellbooks! GL to all ♥

Another pride picture! This was a gift from @gromrig.bsky.social drawn by @kiqo.bsky.social of our Asura throuple. Seffi belongs to Gromrig, Welxx and Trynnt belong to me.

A digital drawing depicting three Asura characters from Guild Wars 2. The drawing is mostly black-and-white but features color in the form of a pair of pride flags.

The characters - In order Seffi, Welxx, and Trynnt - are posing together. Seffi on the left and Trynnt on the right are smiling and holding up a magenta/yellow/blue pansexual pride flag and holding on to Welxx in the center. Welxx is blushing and smiling, and holding up a smaller black/white/gray/purple demisexual pride flag for himself.

Got a new picture of Aavic from @astraycat.bsky.social ! He turned out perfect and I couldn't be happier with the results.

A digital drawing of my Asura Aavic. He's wearing a fine purple suit with gold trim, white gloves, purple-framed eyeglasses and crystal accessories. In his right hand he holds a conjured sword and a conjured staff in his left.

He's using magic here - A Chronomancer's well is manifesting around his feet, a Mirage Mirror appears behind his back, and an arc of Virtuoso blades hover above his head.

I'm finally satisfied with Aavic's outfits after what feels like ages figuring his looks out. Maybe it's a little campy for a mesmer to wear purple, but he certainly wears it well!

A screenshot of Guild Wars 2 featuring my Asura character, Aavic. He's standing posed holding a staff made of enchanted light.

This picture focuses on his outfit - A three-piece suit consisting of an ankle-length overcoat, double-breasted vest, and slacks. He wears black leather shoes that match and finishes the look with a pair of white fingerless gloves, set with enchanted crystals in their knuckles.

This post highlights his outfits, in this case an elaborate purple tunic with patterns of stars, moons, and constellations and decorated with pink crystal accoutrements. A spellbook bound in leather hangs at his hip and a stylish filigreed cloak adorns his shoulders.

This post highlights his outfits, in this case a set of traditional mage's robes with loose sleeves that cut off at the elbows. They reveal a pair of enchanted gauntlets inscribed with runes. He wears a gold-trimmed white cloak on top of this.

It's winter in the shiverpeaks and Trynnt has tenure. He's skipping the Priory uniform and staying cozy with the new jacket ☕
