PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I was so nervous in the lead-up because although I like 4 & 5, 1-3 is where my heart has always been. Just so happy with what they did with it 😮💨 110
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Game #30 of 2026 ✅ Gears of War: E-Day Xbox Series X 🎮 My favourite franchise of all time delivered the Gears of War game I was hoping for. The chaos & despair of Emergence Day was visceral, atmospheric & emotional (I cried twice lmao) The grind continues towards the Dead Serious achievement! 1393
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Hi. I miss posting about video games. I miss my mutuals & interacting with them. I miss when life didn't feel like it was suffocating me & watching members of my family so unwell. I hope to be back at some point, when life stops being so wild. I miss it. Just wanted to say hi. 16752
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Game #29 of 2026 ✅ Kirby’s Dream Land Nintendo Switch Online 🎮 Finished Kirby and the Forgotten Land yesterday, so wanted to go back to where it all started. That King Dedede fight certainly was something. 2253
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Game #28 of 2026 ✅ Kirby and the Forgotten Land Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 Cool enemy gauntlets, fun level designs, interesting copy abilities & overall I just had a really fun time with it. I need Kirby and the World Beyond, NOW! 🥲 0150
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Game #27 of 2026 ✅ Cocoon PlayStation 5 🎮 Platinum Trophy 🏆 Such a satisfying puzzle game, almost therapeutic in parts. A couple of the later puzzles had my brain hurting, but it felt great to work them out. The fact it’s played with a single button, with so much depth, is impressive. 0222
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Game #26 of 2026 ✅ Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (The Nathan Drake Collection) PlayStation 5 🎮 Great to jump in to a franchise that I've been meaning to for a long time. I can see back in the day this would have been impressive. I liked it... but F those jet ski sections. 6330
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Game #25 of 2026 ✅ Mina the Hollower Steam Deck 🎮 This beat the Hell out of me for the first few hours! A little more guidance would have helped at points, but it was fun to explore. A lot of charm in the art style. Combat was so-so & balancing felt off at times. 2170
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Game #24 of 2026 ✅ Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Xbox Series X 🎮 Great visuals, soundtrack & atmosphere. Would have liked more variety in the puzzles, but it didn't outstay its welcome & I'm glad I played it. 0220
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Game #23 of 2026 ✅ Splatoon Raiders Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 Wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy this, but I had a lot of fun. The last hour or so were chaos. Would go back if they announced DLC. 3231
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Game #22 of 2026 ✅ Croc: Legend of the Gobbos PlayStation 5 🎮 Great to be able to play through this again. Very nostalgic experience. Looking forward to the recently announced Croc 2 remaster. 0140
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Game #21 of 2026 ✅ Planet of Lana II Xbox Series X 🎮 I loved this. Mechanically robust with some fun puzzles. Audio is great & it’s visually stunning. A lot of improvements on the original. 5271
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Game #20 of 2026 ✅ Halo: Campaign Evolved Xbox Series X 🎮 A great time running through this with friends on Legendary (which wasn’t as bad as I remembered either). Great to revisit the OG. Halo will always have a place in my heart. 1222
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Game #19 of 2026 ✅ Escape the Backrooms Xbox Series X 🎮 Had a lot of fun with this. Played the entire thing with 2-3 friends. Don't think I'd have enjoyed it anywhere near as much if I was playing without a group. Some great jumpscares in there. 071
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Game #18 of 2026 ✅ Buckshot Roulette Xbox Series X 🎮 Feels cheap adding this to games I've finished, but the single player can be done in 20-30 minutes, so I did it. I only really play this with friends every now & then, it's a fun enough way to kill a little time together. 061
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Game #17 of 2026 ✅ Donkey Kong Bananza Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 It took me a few attempts to click with it, but I'm glad it finally did. I enjoyed it & it's a really solid experience, but felt that certain parts fell short with me. Also that final boss difficulty spike was INSANE! 0220
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Game #16 of 2026 ✅ Pokémon FireRed Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 A lot of nostalgia playing this one. I never realised when I was younger what a grind it was to get your Pokémon to a decent level to take on the Elite Four! I used: Charizard, Snorlax, Zapdos, Hitmonchan, Lapras & Machoke. 1190
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 27/06/2026Game #15 of 2026 ✅ Gears of War Reloaded PlayStation 5 🎮 My favourite game of all time. Finally got around to doing the campaign on the PS5 version. I’m so excited for Gears of War: E-Day. 0170
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Game #14 of 2026 ✅ 007 First Light. PlayStation 5 🎮 Platinum Trophy 🏆 Incredible ride from start to finish. Didn't feel like anything was filler. Great visuals, voice acting was fantastic too. So many good games coming out this year & this is right up there. 2190
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Game #13 of 2026 ✅ Mixtape 🎧 Xbox Series X 🎮 100% 🏆 Impactful, short & enjoyable. I didn't resonate with it on a personal level like some of my mutuals did, but it was a fun journey to be on & as expected, the soundtrack was a banger! 0510
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 07/05/2026Game #12 of 2026 ✅ Saros. PlayStation 5 🎮 A stunning experience from start to finish. Pure chaos. Sound design is some of the best I've ever heard & the bullet hell/combat system are so good. Will take something special for this to not be my GOTY. 7400
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 26/04/2026Game #11 of 2026 ✅ PRAGMATA. PlayStation 5 🎮 Really enjoyed it. The hack/shoot mechanic is extremely satisfying. It didn't outstay its welcome & sometimes you need a game like that. Capcom seem to be on a great run! 0200
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 21/04/2026Game #10 of 2026 ✅ Mario Tennis Fever. Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 Got around to playing the Adventure! I only really play this for online (currently 175hrs+ play time). Currently closing in on top 100 in the world for the second month running. Never thought I'd be a Koopa main, but here we are! 🐢 2150
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Game #9 of 2026 ✅ Super Meat Boy 3D. Xbox Series X 🎮 Some of the levels in the final world are no joke! Final boss & the traditional escape sequence were fun. Had a great time with it. Challenging but really rewarding. Could have happily played a lot more of it. 2202
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Game #8 of 2026 ✅ Pokopia. Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 I'm counting this because I got around to clearing the story. There will be a lot more hours put in to this. Not my usual kind of game, but I'm having a lot more fun with it than I thought I would. 1180
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 31/03/2026Game #7 of 2026 ✅ Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Nintendo Switch 2 🎮 I still can't tell whether I enjoyed this or not. Some parts were fun, other parts were stinky. It's been a long time since a game has made me feel complete indifference. 0140
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 17/03/2026Game #6 of 2026 ✅ Resident Evil Requiem 🧟♂️ PlayStation 5 🎮 Incredible. I haven't enjoyed a game like that for a long time. Leon Kennedy might be the GOAT. I just can't believe what I experienced. I won't play many better games this year! 1231
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 03/02/2026Game #5 of 2026 ✅ Final Fantasy VII Remake 🗡️ PlayStation 5 🎮 Really glad I got around to this. Enjoyed it a lot & I'll definitely play Rebirth at some point this year. I'm embarrassed to admit how long the puzzle with the two robot arms/Aerith took me 😂 1170
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 11/01/2026Game #4 of 2026 ✅ Is This Seat Taken? 🧩 Steam Deck 🎮 100% 🏆 @3mipop.bsky.social generously gifted me this for Christmas! A small heartfelt story wrapped up in fun puzzles, some of which fried my brain for a while! Very wholesome & relaxing experience overall. 2120
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Game #3 of 2026 ✅ MARVEL Cosmic Invasion 🦸 Xbox Series X 🎮 Finished it in one sitting in co-op with @webbyc.bsky.social I was a big fan of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, so knew what to expect. Looks beautiful & although a little soulless in places, I enjoyed my time with it. 1111
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Game #2 of 2026 ✅ Skate Story 🛹 PlayStation 5 🎮 Trippy game, loved the visuals & the soundtrack. A little buggy in places & I had to restart the entire game at Chapter 7 due to a progress glitch. Doesn't take long to play through, though. Enjoyed it for what it was. 180
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 08/01/2026First game of 2026 finished ✅ Resident Evil 4 Remake 🧟♀️ PlayStation 5 🎮 What an experience. Loved so much about it & it felt good to just sit & lose myself in it. Leon is a bad MF & it’s made me strongly consider getting Requiem on release! 7685
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 01/10/2025Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, Elfen Lied, Goblin Slayer, Castlevania. Anything with monsters etc. You? 120
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 01/10/2025Koi No Yokan is a special album. They all have their own strong points, but what a band. Incredible a band can make music that sounds like that, consistently, for as long as they have. I hope you enjoy discovering more! 010
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 01/10/2025Found games pretty consistently, just American servers & not EU. What modes are you searching? I'm down for that. Just let me know & we'll work something out. 110
PJ 🌻 @pxljim.bsky.social · 01/10/2025Self-titled is a favourite of mine. I don’t think it’s their best album, but the memories I have to a lot of those songs & what they remind me of, make it a really important to me. 110
