I think about this Žižek moment at least once a week

My friend said they went to a Zizek talk and eventually the moderator interrupted him saying "I think it's time for questions" and Zizek was like "Ok. I will ask the first one.
•Professor Zizek what would you say if you had more time?' and then he proceeded to continue the talk as if nothing happened

I appaud @unodc.bsky.social for the needed focus on stimulant drugs #EHRC2024 but urge focus beyond BBV. A cynical view that this speaks more to communicable disease transmission concern among broader 'public' than the health & wellbeing of people who use stimulants. Respiratory conditions crucial.

Delighted to be at #EHRC2024 Courageous opening from former president Poland:"I signed a lot of very restrictive bills in drug policy.. I came to realise this was counter productive...we cannot repeat the stereotypes present in the public sphere..This restrictive drug policy is the road to nowhere"
