(Although tbh the reason I blitz through three houses was because I was unemployed and not in school vs now I am employed & in grad school)

I’ve been playing fortunes weave but at a comfy pace rather than blitzing through it like I did for three houses and I picked Cai’s route first and this guy might actually end up being my mvp. He really is Unkillable Guzran.

I love listening to minutes to midnight because it reminds me of the fanfiction I would write when I was 12 and being angsty about my dysfunctional family

It’s been months but I think the funniest thing this year has been my best friend’s ex blocking ME and not him LIKE I DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING

One of the worst things about being an adult that works in education who is chronically in a world where children are also very online is that I am knowledgeable about the same things they are. One of the 11 y/os was drawing Jax from tadc today and mentally I was like do you know of the discourse

My opinion has changed and I love this fight but I hate how the funnest mechanics are so late in the fight

actually funniest thing at work today is when my lead teacher gave me some work and was like "I'm sorry this is really tedious!" and it was stapling papers and organizing them into folders and I felt like a dog receiving enrichment

I hate to say it but I think top might be one of the funnest ultimates

100

Mel @ beetleland @pwimalwend.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

also going from fresh on a job I've never played in high end content to phase 4 enrage in a month has done ridiculous things to my brain. ffxiv ultimates aren't real.

010

Mel @ beetleland @pwimalwend.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

we had a .6% wipe in p4 of top so p5 next week....this fight is starting to get a little serious so I gotta sim now

Might attempt to pf top on my own time outside of the static to get more prog in, would be nice to clear very quickly

Mel @ beetleland @pwimalwend.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

joined some friends to do top and we’ve been basically speed progging we’re ten hours in and are halfway through hello world already while I’m trying to learn bard at the same time

raiding in ffxiv is so funny. one day you're nervous about doing the second floor of a tier for the first time, then a couple years later your friends ask if you want to do a ulti on a job you've never played in content and you're like "sure fuck it"
