Having an autoimmune disease is awful, can impact you in so many different ways, and also can develop a bunch of other stuff over the years because of it. PLEASE take care of your bodies to the best of your ability. It does so much for you on a daily basis without you even realizing it.

If it was a random I wouldn’t give a fuck but it’s family so (or rather, family I’m inevitably being married into). It’s really frustrating to deal with.

Holding value as an individual in any regard runs deeper than what they do for a living, how much money they make or the state of their health. People see value in others from such a privileged and ableist perspective sometimes and it really shows.

Invisibly ill and disabled individuals are worthy of unconditional love. We have value. We have things to offer. We are multifaceted and are more than our conditions and limitations.
