Original title was "Attack Number 1", but the German dub changed the protag's name and made it "Mila Superstar". Decades later I mostly remember the abuse depicted. Trainers slapping 14yo girls or throwing bashing them with balls until they collapse. All ok to make them better, of course 🤢

What is the first book I remember reading myself? It absolutely can't have been the first book I read myself, but the first one I have clear memories of reading is this one (which I recently re-read to The Nieces and promptly started crying of nostalgia)

Optisch ansprechend sind meine Backungen ja selten... aber sie schmecken gut. Das ist nicht nichts.

This is obviously one of the best book titles of all time, but I'm happy to report that I'm currently on page 15, and so far I've laughed audibly three times. While in the quiet carriage of this train. This book is making me rude.
