Saw Street Fighter last night. Had its issues but it was so cheesy I couldn’t stop laughing! It was a pretty fun time, I wish it was less ashamed of what it was. Hope it gets it sequel! #movies

Finally finished editing all the shorts I recorded 2 months ago! Why did it take 2 months considering the editing quality? Don’t worry about it! 🤗 #youtube

Got Vassalord vol 1 (manga) yesterday. Reading it felt so nostalgic. I’ll definitely cry if Tokyopop goes out of business before finishing the series again. #reading

Finally caught up on Editor’s Survival Guide! False God is my fav arc. Now to see what’s all the fuss about Got Dropped Into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work. I also finished vol 1 of Lord of Mysteries. I like it but I’m not invested yet. Excited to see if vol 2 changes my mind. #webnovels

The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine manhwa is better than I expected! I wonder if I should check out the web novel. #manhwa

Lately I’ve been having fun reading a bunch of transmigrated and attending the emperor’s court with a gossip system that everyone can hear without my knowledge stories. Who knew there were so many web novels with this premise!

I was not expecting the main couple from [How To Survive As The Wife Of The Monster Duke] to be so good at communicating! Now that I’m caught up on the manhwa I’m tempted to check out the web novel~ #manhwa

I never noticed but apparently Billy Bat’s written with a co-author. I wonder if that’s why I’m struggling. 🤔

I love 20th Century Boys & Monster but for the life of me I can’t seem to get into Billy Bat. But I also can’t stop wanting to like this series so I keep trying! Finally managed to finish vol 1, it was fine, really hoping I’ll like vol 2. Still Kana did a pretty good job with the packaging. #manga

I don’t usually like harems but [The Villainous Noble Loves Mom Heroines Too Much] is so fun and refreshing 😂 There are issues but stories like this are good to read sometimes~

I’m enjoying my writing course but I notice I’m not really doing the exercises, I’m just watching the videos. I am, however, doing the work with my new online therapist so woohoo! I just told her about how feeling insignificant & alone gives me distress but also comfort.

It’s been fun reading Korean web novels again but I miss danmei. Once I’m done binging Follow Your Heart, and checking out 3 more series I’m interested in 😚, I’ll probably take a break and focus on danmei again~

Day 2 of writing course done! I also signed up for Online Therapy for a month. Hopefully doing CBT and speaking with a therapist once a week for four weeks will help!

Finally stopped binging manhwa, now I’m binging the web novel The Ruined World Was Mistaken for a Game. I’m only 79 chpts in but it’s pretty good so far, would buy if licensed. #webnovel

Currently binging: - Peaceful Camping Life in Another World, it’s about a chef and it’s so soothing - The Regressed Mercenary’s Machinations, I like how responsible and caring he is~ This week I’ve binged so much manwha I’m sick of it but reading these I’m excite to keep binging 😂 #manwha

I’ve been binging a lot of webcomics this weekend. Honestly most are mid but then I discovered Tyrant of the Tower Defense Game. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually pretty good. I keep crying. Stupid rats 😭 No doubt I’ll keep cry, pple keep dying, but I can’t stop reading it.

I did it! I cut my script down to 4443 words, one more rewrite and I can cut it even more! I was struggling to cut stuff but also to make it flow together until I told myself I’d separate parts out into shorts. Will I end up actually making these shorts, who knows! Maybe! #youtube

I planned to rewrite my script and record my voiceover sat but none of that happened. I’m so tired of talking about ai 😭 I’m still hoping to get the video out before Aug, gonna try to work on it when I wake up. 💪🏽

Finally finished my gen ai and writing script’s rough draft! I’m so sick of talking about ai so this took longer than expected and yet somehow this script is 9928 words 😂 I ramble like crazy though so I should be able to cut it down a lot when I edit. 🤞🏽 #youtube

Currently reading The Real Young Master Is A Good Samaritan Again Today and this line made me laugh way too hard: Director Zheng leaned back heavily into his chair, his beer belly tightening into lines reminiscent of his youth.

Saw Supergirl & I liked it. I just don’t understand why they keep making these weird changes to these characters lore. 🤔 First Clarke with the harem thing and now Kara with her age compared to Clarke’s.

I finally finished my gen ai pt 2 script! I mean there’s one more light edit left but I should be able to film my voiceover this weekend unless something crazy happens. I’m taking a few days before I do the last edit, it’s good to have a lil distance btw edits otherwise my script would be so bitter.

I started buying figurines and I think I bought 3 bootleg nendoroids. I didn’t realize at first but then I got one that was such a different level of quality there was no way the ones I got before weren’t bootlegged! I still have 3 more on their way from eBay… I guess I should’ve done research… 😮‍💨

Personally I’m content to end my press ons journey here, just alternate between Impress & Kiss, but I actually bought 4 other brands when I was gung ho about this journey. Since I have them I plan to try them 😂 Next is Nail Reformation, I’m not hopeful, they seem pretty stiff, but I never know!

000 0

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

Yesterday I tried Kiss’ press ons. I managed to successfully glue them & they aren’t pinching my nails like SH & O&J did. Kiss isn’t as flexible as Impress but they aren’t as firm as SH/O&J & I can see myself wearing these again. I did crack one of my nails so I’ll need to b more careful next time!

100 1

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

I took a break from glue & went back to imPress’s press ons. So far these are the most comfortable of the 3 brands I’ve tried & I think it’s bc of how bendy they are. They usually last me a week before one nail starts sliding off, I could probably use glue to keep it on but I usually peel it off 😂

I finally finished working on my gen ai part 1 script! I did it. It’s so long. Over 8000 words! I can’t see myself recording the voiceover until sat so I might work on finishing part 2’s script during the week instead. I’m so close to being done! 💃🏽 #youtube #update

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Maybe it’s the sleep deprivation but I’m feeling really good about my gen ai part 2 script (my gen ai script is too long so I cut it into two videos 😝). The data center section isn’t great but I’m pretty happy about the other sections. So far 🤨 #youtube #update

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Wow! Removing the nails left this black gunk behind. I didn’t experience that with imPress or Sally!

000 0

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

I did more research lol and I think Olive & June is just too curved for my flatter nails which is why they feel like they’re squeezing my thumb and index fingers. I probably won’t use them again.

100 1

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Brush on nail glue went way better! Currently trying Olive & June and pretty sure I messed up picking nail sizes. That’s what I get for doing that weeks before I actually glued on the nails! I’m open to trying trying this brand again.

100 1

PurpleYellow @purpleyellow.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

I tried Sally Hansen press on nails. First time I had to use glue & it did not go well. It even got on top of the nails! Next time I'm trying brush on nail glue. Probably won't try SH again, the nails didn't fit as good as imPress's. I tried a new nail glue remover but I think I prefer kiss's.

Took a short break but I’m back to editing my gen ai script again. Actually cutting and merging sections now! Still a long way to go and I just can’t stop being wordy lol. Sure would suck if I can’t at least finish the script before May! Surely I’ll be done soon… 😢 #youtube #update

I don’t think I like colorFX. The nails actually peeling! Plus some look smudged, something about how they did these isn’t good. I liked my previous imPRESS nails but I can’t see myself buying this type again. At least they look good from far away 😂
