The only problem is that I'll have to readjust a lot of code, since I'll no longer need a reason for two scenes to communicate with each other. (No longer have to use a sub viewport) But at least, things will run smoother afterwards.

I'm both glad and upset that I'm just now realizing that just having a normal hud and game scene would be way easier for to do. Hell, a normal hud would be perfectly fine for what I'm making anyways.

I just realized that I would be having a far easier time using Godot if I wasn't trying be more ambitious with the hud that I needed to. :/ Things are a lot more harder to work with when your game is within a sub viewports. Causes more issues than you think.

Bro, for the past few days I am literally DREAMING that I'm still working on godot. Should I find this concerning?

Is this boring? Because I'm definitely sure it does. I can't/don't want to show anything yet. (Or at least too much) So all you're getting is text for now. Don't worry, I draw more cute girls eventually. Just wanted to get my thoughts out. ദ്ദി˙-˙ )✧

Oh also also, the first big I came across is with animations. Turns out the animation script I'm using is way too simplistic for the Small Movement Quirks. So I'll probably have to overhaul it later. And after that I'll have to fix that horrendous camera.

Idk why, but making few little progress really bothers me. I mean the sprites count but again they were meant to be placeholders so I can fully focus on what's my important. I am still new to this whole game dev thing, I'm more of an art guy than a code guy.

So I've been figuring out how godot works for the past two days. Didn't think I'd make it this far tbh. Also, I had to make more placeholder sprites but I ran outta time so I couldn't even try to implement one into the project.
