Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 22/06/2025@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @chuckschumer.com @aoc.bsky.social will anyone in Congress uphold their obligation to the Constitution? Enough with the statements. 021
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 31/05/2025I love it! We just had a family of robins leave their nest right outside our front door! It was so cool to watch them grow. They are still hanging around but definitely gaining their courage to leave. 181
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 29/05/2025Recently, we had a robins nest right outside our front door. What a joy to see four tiny robins hatch and be part of our home. The greeted us every morning. Today, the finally found their wings and flew away! 081
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 15/05/2025Republicans in Nebraska are now worried because of the newly elected Mayor of Omaha, John Ewing. #BetheChange 041
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 01/05/2025Good point -- but are they are picking and choosing? Is it truly following the Bible if they help with "select" people? I mean, my favorite verse is the following: 110
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 14/04/2025Oh, boy. Trump now says he will deport "violent" US Citizens to El Salvador. Isn't that what our criminal justice system is for-- to determine if a person committed a crime and, if found guilty, to determine the sentence in our country? 100
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 11/04/2025Sage advice at the appropriate time. I recommend this book! From #TheOracleofOmaha, Warren Buffett. 010

Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 30/03/2025This is the most useful post I've seen about Trump running for a third term (unconstitutional). Hopefully, we have our democracy and republic in a place where won't-- including allowing Trump to dismantle our election process and allowing the Musk's of the world to influence elections. 000
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 27/03/2025So, who is driving these ideas, besides Trump? What billionaires paid Trump to pursue Canada as a 51st state; Greenland; and Panama? Why is it the "United States" best interest? It makes no sense at all. @schumer.senate.gov what is being done to investigate these outrageous claims? 000
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 11/03/2025Get this-- universities are turning people away for certain programs based on federal government issues. Are other universities doing the same or only Red states? This was posted on Facebook and I am sharing. 000
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 06/03/2025Please share. Republicans are using the people-funded DOJ for their own personal use. It's gotta stop. 011
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 23/02/2025This great news! I know the organizers were not anticipating so much interest. We did show up but were one of the 800 turned away. I hope to see more Democrats here talking to us and encouraging us to stand up! Sorry we missed you @sanders.senate.gov! 011
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 22/02/2025Was Trump recruited to be a Russian agent? If so, how many Republicans in on it? If so...this is treason. 031
Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Musk is no good. He needs to go. Republicans and Democrats need to pull his government contracts and tell him, "You're fired." 010

Purple Iris @purpleiris.bsky.social · 18/12/2024I don't share info very much, but I must agree that the healthcare system is broken. I have Type 1 diabetes. UHC requires us to use generic insulin. We can't get what is prescribed. Check out my denial history on insulin! 010
