I'm sorta over Link-heavy or Link-focused strategies in YuGiOh, they don't appeal to me, I'm more a fan of utility Link-2s in a deck more focused on another mechanic. The one exception... Plant Link, I just find it funny that the 1 card starter is an unassuming looking vanilla

Another FF8 thought... Kinda bummed Selphie and Irvine didn't get anything in the MtG crossover. Like I get it, there're only so many slots and FF is a big franchise Selphie got a cameo at least, that's nice. Kinda wanna collect all the FF8 Magic cards at some point.

Final Fantasy VIII done, finally have a perfect game in a version of what has now become my favourite FF game. I like the junction system... I only felt like I had to grind for endgame prep, and that was for items to refine into busted stuff. Refining is the real genius of this game.

In a rare bout of actual perserverence... I lied Platinum is 3:10.00 and completely unnecessary, I am never touching Stormy Ascent ever again, this shit took me 2 days of attempts -_-.

Feature I wish for in the Karters... let me switch off showing my leaderboard position when I set a new time. I only want to compare to my own times. Also the ability to not have my ghost show up automatically when I go again on a track, I find ghosts quite distracting, but they have their uses.

I think I'm pretty set on Jam being my go-to blorbo for Xrd and +R The choice for Strive is less clear, partly because I worry about muscle memory issues going from Xrd Jam to Strive Jam because of input differences Also, Giovanna is cool and I seemed to do alright with her.
